Decent stay but disappointing room condition.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the room itself was quite large. The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

My room was a suite but the tub had a large ding and a brown stain in the tub that appeared to come off when I scrubbed it. The office chair had peeling fake leather, the coffee table looked like it had been broken and repaired and some tiles were cracked in the bathroom floor. Not something you’d expect in a hotel such as the Hampton Inn. I reported these things to the front desk and was told they would document this so I would not be charged but upon checking out I found that the staff person did not document so I showed the photos again upon checking out.

Disappointing
Pros:

Cons:

Whilst the hotel is good (we have stayed here before), this stay was not the best.

On arrival, the carpark was completely full (even at the back)

The first and second night, the guy in the next room snored so loudly, we were awake practically all night. The third night, the guy returned to his room at around 2am, stood talking loudly on his phone in the hall for around 10 mins before going into his room, turning the tv on full blast and eventually going to sleep and snoring like a train again. The following morning, I asked reception to move me, which they very kindly did.

The next 2 nights were spent with kids playing hockey in the corridors, doors constantly slamming, kids screaming and trying to get into my room through an adjoining door. Breakfast was like a kids party - I was unable to get a seat on my first attempt so came back an hour later to find food all over the floor, no fruit left, unclean food stations etc.

Whilst I appreciate it was a busy time, it’s not fair that kids should be allowed to run riot through the hotel and cause disturbance to other guests
