Convenient and well run, we had a lovely stay.
Lovely room and great view from 29th floor. Staff friendly and accommodating. Perfect location especially for Broadway shows and great subway access. Delicious in-room dining for late night snacks!
Perfectly located for theatre going. Excellent services in all areas.
It is time for this hotel to have a refresh and be updated. This was my second stay in the past year. The hotel is convenient to the 42nd St / Port Authority train station. It is close to Times Square but not exactly on the main street which can be busy and noisy. I was on the 24th floor and heard street noise/cars. Also I am a platinum elite that reserved a premium upper floor room. There was no mention of the complimentary upgrade. The bellsmen are the only people greeting you in the hotel. I felt like a bother to the front desk. The app tells you to communicate with the staff
by text but it’s takes over an hour for them to respond back. Someone knocked on my door at 2am with a fridge. I was in bed. When I arrived to my room there was a glass, knife, and fork outside the door. Those items stayed there the entire duration of my stay. Inside the room was a previous guest’s dirty sock. The room was relatively clean with mostly just stained carpet that needs to be replaced. Housekeeping removed that when I called. The bathroom was not fully stocked and I ran out of body wash because the reusable bottle wasn’t refilled. The Byredo products are nice but not sure of the authenticity. The shower has a lot of mold and mildew. If my stay had been longer than 2 nights, I would have found another suitable hotel.
Éramos dois adultos e uma criança e tínhamos o pequenos almoço incluido.
Quando fomos fazer o check-out cobraram-nós o pequeno almoço da criança.
Já viajamos por muito países e nunca nos aconteceu igual… lamentável.
We had a wonderful experience staying overnight at this hotel. I have to take the time to shout out JC the concierge who made the trip exceptional as opposed to just good. Her warm personality, excellent service and her ability to extend herself for us was so refreshing in a world where service seems harder and harder to connect with a genuine human being with an unhurried pace. She went out of her way to help us on three separate occasions and set the tone for the excellent service the other staff provided. Francisco at the front desk was also very helpful when checking in. The manager at the restaurant in the morning (I didn't catch her name) was also fantastic. The room was lovely and the location is perfect. We will be back again because of the excellent service
I like it so much it’s very nice 👌
Had a great night out for drinks. Nick took care of us the whole time, attentive without being intrusive and happy to make good recommendations. Service across the board was excellent!
Big shout out to Nick, the friendliest waiter in The Stinger Cocktail bar within The Intercontinental hotel, Times Square, NYC.
Great stay at the hotel, which is in a great location & has everything you could need for a short city break.
I am an IHG Diamond Elite and Ambassador Member. When in NYC, The Intercontinental New York Times Square is truly our “home away from home.” It is a very comfortable, elegant hotel, right in the heart of the theatre district and near terrific restaurants on 9th Avenue, surprisingly quiet as it is set back a bit from Times Square. What makes it most special is its truly warm, welcoming, thorough and caring staff. Rosemary Estrella at the Ambassador desk, along with her colleague Chynairra ("China") Savage, are truly treasures. It is a joy to see them every time we stay at the property. They always go out of their way to make sure that every part of our stay is wonderful. I simply can’t say enough good things about these remarkable women. In addition, when calling the operator (the hotel’s responsive “Instant Service”) there are two lovely, warm and able staff members, in particular, that are a joy to speak to: Sree and Emily. We are already looking forward to our next stay in the months ahead!
My stay at the InterContinental New York Times Square was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the kindness, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality throughout the hotel. The property itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during my entire stay.
I especially want to recognize Paulina, the instant service representative, who provided incredibly prompt and thoughtful service. Her professionalism and willingness to help made a huge difference and truly showed how much the staff cares about guests.
I would also like to thank Robert, the assistant front desk manager, for his exceptional hospitality and attentiveness. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and enjoyable, making me feel valued as a guest.
The level of customer service at this hotel is something that truly stands out. The staff’s warmth, kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction made this stay memorable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.
Hi! I just wanted to recognize two outstanding employees who make every stay at the InterContinental New York Times Square exceptional.
Paulina (Instant Service Representative) and Robert (Assistant Front Desk Supervisor) are absolutely phenomenal. They are always so kind, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to help with anything we need.
My husband and I travel throughout the United States and Europe and stay in hotels year-round, including many luxury properties in New York City. We continue to return to the InterContinental Times Square several times a year because of the exceptional hospitality, outstanding cleanliness, and service we receive—and Paulina and Robert are a huge part of that.
They truly make your hotel stand out and are the reason we keep coming back. Please let them know how much they are appreciated. They are incredible representatives of your hotel!
Also, hotel is close to TS but not too close! Perfect location! Safe and many restaurants close by!
Good location. Very friendly staff from the front desk to the cleaning personnel are very helpful and dedicated.
Nothing to say.
Great location, super friendly staff. Especially ms Cheryl and Mr Ahmed at the reception
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Times Square, with beautiful rooms and great views. A bonus is India at Times Square, located beside the hotel, serving excellent Indian food.
Unfortunately, the service was one of the worst I have experienced. I arrived at 9:00 PM, but my room was still not ready. Despite many guests waiting, only one check-in counter was operating.
As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I was promised a room upgrade, but it was withdrawn after a 30–45 minute wait without any explanation.
The most serious issue was being given a key to a room already occupied by another guest, a shocking breach of guest privacy and security.
The rest of the team was polite, but the duty manager showed little concern.
I cannot recommend this hotel. It is overpriced for the level of service provided and falls well below the standards expected from an InterContinental hotel.
The staff was friendly and worked hard to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable!
