Had an excellent stay at this hotel! Nick made my stay 1000% better!

Such a wonderful experience!! Excellent location. Beautiful rooms. Loved the cocktails in the hotel bar and had 10/10 service from Nick who was funny and had great banter. Staying here and enjoying the on site restaurant was a highlight of our trip!

We had a wonderful dining experience thanks to Nick! I wish I could give him 6 stars. Instead I will write an acrostic poem to represent my gratitude.

We enjoy the intimacy and atmosphere of the Intercontinental…. easy access, convenient to theaters and wonderful staff from the lobby to Stinger Restaurant! NICK is the waiter you need to request! Personable and professional.

We have stayed at this property many times and have always had a great experience, which is why this visit was a bit disappointing. We specifically booked a room with a king-size bed well in advance, but upon arrival were told none were available. As Platinum Ambassadors, this was surprising and honestly a little frustrating, especially since the reservation had been made ahead of time.

The staff did offer points as compensation, which was appreciated, but it didn’t fully make up for not receiving the room type we reserved. Overall, we still enjoy this property, but consistency and honoring booked room preferences — particularly for loyal guests — would make future stays much better.

The InterContinental New York Times Square delivers a modern luxury experience in Midtown Manhattan, just west of Times Square. The overall aesthetic is contemporary and design-forward, favoring sleek presentation over traditional opulence.

The location on West 44th Street places the hotel approximately 3–5 minutes on foot from Times Square, directly adjacent to multiple 8th Avenue subway entrances, and within easy walking distance of Port Authority. Broadway theaters, restaurants, and retail are immediately accessible throughout the surrounding Theater District.

The reviewed room was categorized as a “Skyline View” and featured floor-to-ceiling windows with three directional exposures toward Central Park, Times Square, and Downtown Manhattan. The layout separated the sleeping area from a defined seating and work space. The bed was soft and comfortable, and climate control operated quietly and effectively.

The bathroom included a walk-in shower with rainfall and handheld options, both providing adequate water pressure and consistent hot water.

Arrival and check-in were efficient. Staff were professional and knowledgeable. Luis in Reservations took additional time to recognize loyalty status and assist in identifying a room aligned with stated preferences. Housekeeping standards were strong.

Restaurant, bar, and concierge services are available on property. ADA-compliant rooms are offered.

For travelers seeking contemporary luxury in a highly walkable Midtown location, this property represents strong value within its category.

Wonderful location right by the subway line, beautifully appointed, clean, attentive staff, and NICK at the Stinger was top notch in his help and service. I also had a wonderful girl who checked me in when I arrived who went above and beyond knowing my trip was for my birthday and even had fruit sent to our rooms. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she had glasses. THANK YOU!

Ah! Once again, I had a very satisfying stay at the Intercontinental. It's always great to spend time in the city, and the staff's kindness is always exceptional. I was welcomed and received excellent service during breakfast from the lovely Eddie, who once again did an outstanding job not only in his service but also in his recommendations of this wonderful city! I will definitely return!

We enjoyed a long weekend in Times Square, made even better by the excellent service and accommodations at this hotel. At check-in, Rose at the Ambassador desk provided outstanding service and clearly explained the hotel’s amenities. We were upgraded to a Skyline Junior Suite, which was perfect for our family and greatly appreciated. Breakfast at The Stinger was solid on both mornings we dined there. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we’re especially grateful to Rose for making our check-in welcoming and seamless.

I would not recommend this hotel due to serious security and maintenance failures. During a winter stay, the hot water stopped working and staff could not give a clear explanation. The most disturbing incident happened at night when someone opened my room door while I was asleep. I screamed, and the person left. After multiple calls, the front desk finally responded and later claimed it was an engineer who didn’t realize the room was occupied. This is an unacceptable breach of privacy and safety. The apology felt inadequate, and no proper corrective action was offered. I felt unsafe and deeply disturbed for the rest of my stay.

I travel extensively for both work and personal reasons and hold top-tier elite status across multiple major hotel brands, including Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG. I’ve seen great service, upgraded service, and “by-the-book” luxury service — but what Robyn delivers is different. It’s personal, proactive, and ownership-driven in a way that is incredibly rare.

When I called because our room hadn’t been cleaned, she didn’t just solve the immediate issue by sending towels. She took full ownership and arranged a same-day cleaning so the room would be completely reset and comfortable. That follow-through matters, and it’s the kind of detail that separates good from exceptional. She also helped navigate room service with real care, taking my sensitive stomach into account and suggesting smart substitutions so I could still enjoy my meals.

Most memorable is how she shows up for guests. Her warmth and positivity are unmistakable — you can hear the smile in her voice on the phone. Every interaction felt supportive, gracious, and genuinely guest-first.

We were on a personal trip to NYC (celebrating my birthday) during the January ‘26 ‘snowpocalypse’. We had to change our checkin/checkout dates multiple times with flight delays and cancellations, and with all of the logistics frustrations, the trip could’ve turned sour - but Robyn’s care and support ensured that the Intercontinental felt both like home and a luxury getaway at the same time - we were actually sad to finally leave.

In thousands of hotel nights across brands and countries, I can honestly say this level of care is singular. Robyn made our New York stay spectacular, and she is a major reason I would choose to return to this property. Hospitality like this is rare, and it deserves recognition.

Another absolutely amazing trip down to NYC staying at the Intercontinental Times Square. The service is always impeccable- check-in and out is quick and easy. The Staff is always extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms are always clean and updated- the views are amazing! And you can't beat the location- steps from Times Square and shopping without the noise. Will absolutely be back!

Nick made us feel so welcome and made our brief visit for some food and drinks (he makes a great Irish coffee!!) an absolute pleasure !!

The Intercontinental is our favorite hotel when we go to see a Broadway show. The stuff is excellent, the rooms are clean and quiet, and we enjoyed the Stinger Bar and Restaurant.
