Akti Beach Village Resort

Second visit to Akti having first visited in 2023, you always wonder will it be as good as I remembered and I have to say it was, we paid a little extra this time to have a pool view room and it was AMAZING. We were located above the outdoor bar and the bedroom had an amazing view of the sea. The room was really spacious with everything we needed and kept spotless by the maid. The food choices at breakfast and evening meal were really good I especially loved the carving stations. The drinks were plentiful and the bar staff do a fantastic job of an evening coming to take your order and deliver to your table, an added extra this visit was the pool bar remaining open later in the evening giving you a choice of where to have pre and post dinner drinks, they work so very hard. Entertainment staff were much better this visit and take time out to talk to all guests not just those that join in activities. The reception staff are also a joy and nothing is too much trouble. The little bus to old town or the hr our can be booked at reception and is so easy, we only rode one way then walked down to Kings Mall after a meal and a few drinks we took a scenic walk back along the coastal path to Akti. We enjoyed our trip so much that we have already booked to return in November 2026 and are hoping nothing has changed and this remains our little slice of paradise.

Love this hotel due to both its location and the overall hotel experience. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with more than enough facilities for an all inclusive stay. Noted in some reviews that the showers are a little dated as being over the bath and having a shower curtain as opposed to walk-ins and glass panel but for me this in no way detracts from the overall enjoyment of the holiday or satisfaction of the room. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and very clean throughout the common areas of the hotel.
There was daily entertainment which caters for most tastes notably the evening eg. quizzes, dancing, singers, variety shows etc and even a splash of bingo for those wishing to participate.
One of the plus points for us is the quality of food especially the evening theme nights with a different selection of food from every continent, even if you are not a great fan of some items or brave enough to try there are always plenty of alternatives to indulge.
The bar service in the evenings is slick and efficient with the waiters and waitresses coming to the table to take your order and deliver your drinks so no lengthy queuing at the bar. Always plenty of tables in the bar area or in the lounge/reception area.
All staff were helpful and friendly throughout.
Cannot fault the location and availabilty of sunbeds whether around the pools or overlooking the sea, great viewing point to watch or photograph the sunset. The boardwalks alongside the sea are also a plus point for those wishing to get out and about.
Overall a great relaxing holiday hotel and would definately visit again.

Just back from our 2nd visit to Akti Beach and it was fantastic again!
Everything from the room to the food,drink and staff is great!
We came last year for my 50th and when we arrived again this year we were given the same room and also left a lovely bottle of prosecco and fruit plate in the room,lovely surprise❤️,my partner went to order me a birthday cake but the lovely lady at reception told him she already had it sorted(must have remembered from last year),the entertainment every night was fab aswell.
Each night the food had a different theme and honestly couldnt fault it one bit.
The staff are so nice and you didnt need to go to the bar the staff were right to your table for orders and always remembered what you were drinking,well done to all of them.
Lina and Momo the entertainment team were brill and made our holiday even better ty❤️❤️
The hotel has the most amazing views and sunsets,we have already booked for next nov,see you then Akti Beach❤️

The resort is a hotel with a village, lovely gardens & a supermarket.
We found all the meals very tasty & there is a good selection to choose from. They
have various international dishes most nights. Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian &, of course, Cypriot cuisine.
What makes Akti special are the staff. Every department work their socks off! Making sure you have a very enjoyable stay. Special mention to Moumou & Lina, the entertainment staff. From French boules, shuffleboard to
pilates & yoga through the day.
Bingo, quiz & karaoke nights in
the evening. They make it special.
Location wise, it is right by the sea with lovely walks along the
front. Beautiful sunsets too.
Overall 10/10. Thank you for a great holiday.

Came here as a solo traveler and would definitely come back and recommend. Rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. Telephone in bedroom that connects straight to reception. The whole hotel is clean and well maintained. Shuttle bus service twice a day, however must be 4 people booking for it to operate. €5 return to the town/ harbour. Plenty of sun loungers this time of year. I know we can’t predict the weather however it was around 21 degrees all week. Food was a good variety throughout the day. I felt safe as a solo traveler and made friends along the way.

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend. Stayed in room 111 The hotel is beautiful and the view from the balcony was amazing. We went all inclusive plenty of drinks to choose from. And the food was very good. Every night had a different theme. Entertainment was good aswell. Hope to return 1 day so many things we still want to do in Cyprus.

I came out to this resort for my 50th birthday accompanied by my 20 year old daughter! Don’t get me wrong, the accommodation in the apartments is basic but does the job!

The resort is clean, the buffet food and variety in my opinion is of a good and varied standard.

The entertainment, if you’re hear for a week is fab! If you’re here like I have been, for two weeks then it can be repetitive. However, the acts are great - the magician show in particular was brilliant!!

The entertainment team, namely Momo and Lena are absolutely awesome! All other staff around the resort we have found to be helpful.

I will be returning at some point! 🙌

Well,we arrived at the hotel early evening, and were quickly checked in,and escorted from reception desk to the room.
Modern, spacious,we were delighted!
Informal sessions for meals, able to choose your own table and drinks.
November sunshine pouring down from the skyline, we only got one day off!
Plentiful action, throughout the day and evening,loads of characters on show!
Although the local spirit was not for me,AI provided lots of non- alcoholic drinks.
Food and service from the in house staff, were first class.
Lovely to see the Elder lady owner, what came down to watch the French bowls.
Found the rooms,superb compared to other star houses, food on a level to the supposedly 4 and 5 star establishments, and a friendly manner,with efficient staff

We came to this resort in late March. It was such a lovely stay we quickly booked to come back again - this time for my 50th birthday.
Everything was as we remember it. Despite it coming to the end of season the hotel is busy. There is still a full day and evening entertainment program and we really enjoyed the quiz. All of the staff are so warm and friendly and really care for the guests. Drinks service is very efficient and from early evening you do not even have to go to the bar as the staff come round all the tables and take your order. A special mention for Babita who always greets us with a smile and goes out of her way to look after us. The staff really make this is a special resort and this was one of the main reasons why we were so quick to book again.
There is still plenty of choice at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the food is regularly replenished and there are plenty of staff in the restaurant cleaning the tables and clearing the plates.
The rooms are very spacious with lots of hangers and storage space. The bathroom has a powerful shower that gets hot quickly too. Cleaners visit every day and are also very friendly.
The staff on reception are also excellent. They can arrange taxis, replace towels for sunbeds, safe hire etc and are available 24/7. It was lovely they recognised us as returning guests too.
I am so glad I still have a week left here and I know my big birthday will be a great one staying at Akti :-) We will be booking to come back for a third visit soon!

We booked Akti as the villa we usually stay in was booked out. I’m so pleased we came here! Good, sorry not good… Great points! The food is absolutely brilliant! We own a small restaurant in North Wales and I’m a fully trained chef (so I know a little about food) it’s plentiful, varied and served fresh and hot. The rooms are great too, we had an apartment in the village area behind the hotel but after speaking with Demetrius the hotel manager he very kindly moved us to a superior room which has an amazing sea view. Trust me, if you have an issue with anything at this hotel, please ask to speak with him. He is a very approachable gentleman who is more than happy to rectify any issues you may have while at the hotel. It’s best to do this rather than when you get home by a review. He did move us and boy, we are so glad we spoke with him. Another big mention goes out to the entertainment team, Momo & Lina. They work tirelessly to keep everyone busy and active. They host daytime activities and then continue into the evening! Well done guys 👏👏 one quick tip tho (don’t play on the same team as Momo for French Boules… he’s rubbish) hahahaha
The location for Akti is second to none being right on the beach with a wonderful coastal path to walk either way straight out of the hotel. There is a bus service into Paphos for a very small fee (we didn’t use it as we had a hire car) overall, this hotel is amazingly good value for it’s facilities, staff and food. So much so we are booking again for the beginning of May 2026!!!

Our 9th stay to Akti after a break of 18months it was so good to be back a very warm welcome from familer staff faces who have become friends over the years! This place really is our go to after trying other hotels in paphos we always come back to our special place. No moans what so ever have already booked to re-visit in June 2026 can’t wait to see you all. Special thanks this visit to Lina you are an absolute diamond and an asset to the wammavibes team at Akti Beach.

We spent 3 weeks at Akti this time and, once again, had a fantastic stay with all our friends from Germany, Scotland, Wales and England. The Staff were so friendly to us so a great thank you to Xenaphon and all the guys and gals that helped to make our holiday a great experience. Our thanks also to the entertainment team of Momo, Erika, Marina and Lina for keeping us occupied throughout. Food was great and we got our old room again on level two of the main building (room 747). The drinks were good and so was the weather. We had several trips into Paphos for meals and a brilliant trip on the Wave Dancer. Thanks again to everyone. See you next year.

The resort’s location is lovely and our room was spacious, clean and we were greeted with a warm welcome—the only positive.

Sadly, the accommodation feels dated, bathrooms tired and amenities lacking.

Food quality was extremely poor, hot dishes always served cold and drinks were substandard with no branded spirits or mixers.

All inclusive package really not worth it, same deserts each meal, no variety and food quality extremely poor.

Only food which was served hot during our stay was toast at breakfast.

Dining areas were neglected, with flies on food indoors and flies and birds around uncovered outdoor food servers.

For the volume of guests, the seating for dining was poor, most days guests ate lunch at their sun beds.

Staff made no effort to engage or clear tables during meals, so you had plates, glasses etc piled high on tables while eating.

Overall, service felt non existent. Extremely disappointed.

Also, avoid tap water; use bottled.

With refurbishment and genuine care, this hotel could shine, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it or return which is extremely disappointing given the view and location.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at Akti. The place is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the sea that made every sunset feel special. What really stood out to me was the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding.

The hotel offers wide range of activities, on top of the activities around, and various themed food options every evening. Whether it was trying exploring Paphos or just enjoying a quiet, relaxing day by the pool, everything was enjoyable.

The staff were also warm and welcoming, making sure everything went smoothly. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful surroundings, great food, and plenty of things to do!

Fantastic! We spent 5 nights here in September as a couple and have already booked to come back as a family next year. Staff were fantastic, food is great and has a different theme each day so doesn't get boring. Close to amenities which the staff will help provide transport for. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-night stay at Akti Beach. It was our children's first holiday abroad, and Akti made it a memorable experience.
We stayed in an apartment that was conveniently located right next to the hotel and their onsite shop (very handy and reasonably priced). The room was spotless, very clean, and spacious. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely receptionist who was helpful and guided us to our room. From beginning to end, all the staff were wonderful, accommodating, and polite. A big shout out to Lena from the entertainment team, our daughter adored spending time with you and learned so many dances—thank you!

The food was excellent with a wide variety of options; there was something for everyone. The all-inclusive drinks were ok, though I felt they could have been a bit stronger, but the wine was really good.

We noticed that the pool was cleaned thoroughly every morning, and the pool area was well-maintained. There were plenty of sunbeds available, and there was no need to fight for them.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea, while there isn't a traditional beach, there is easy access to the water, which was crystal clear. I recommend wearing sea shoes as the area is a bit pebbly. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking.

The hotel was very informative, and whenever we asked for anything, they were always ready to assist or provide an answer. We felt very safe there, and Cyprus, in general, is a stunning country.

We visited in mid-October, and the weather was fantastic, ranging from 26 to 30 degrees, with some fair weather clouds on a few days, but we all returned home with beautiful tans.

I highly recommend this hotel, in fact, we have already booked to return next year, and we can't wait!

I really enjoyed my 4 days-stay at Akti! The view is amazing, the staff really friendly and helpful, there are many activities throughout the week and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!

We visited Akti with friends and I stayed for one wonderful week. The welcome was warm and clear, and the reception offers plenty of useful items to borrow, from an iron to a super handy luggage scale.
My apartment was spotless and cosy, with a kitchenette, fridge and a kettle for tea. The hotel is family-run, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing, with plenty of sunbeds for everyone.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the themed evening meals were delicious. You can also grab a snack during the afternoon. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling — they truly make the stay special.
The location is simply idyllic, with a breathtaking sea view you never get tired of.

I highly recommend this hotel! With its spa, gym, and weekly activities, there’s always something to enjoy. I was sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
