I had an excellent stay at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa. The location is fantastic—close to shops, restaurants, and many of Palermo’s main points of interest, making it very convenient for exploring the city.
The hotel is very clean and has true Italian charm and character, which made my stay feel authentic and special. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. They were also extremely helpful in arranging a private car service and tour for me, which made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, and the breakfast staff were attentive and helpful.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palermo. It’s a wonderful combination of an excellent location, cleanliness, authentic Italian charm, and warm hospitality.

Il palazzo è spettacolare, le camere spaziose, il servizio e lo staff impeccabile. I bagni sono due, uno con lavabo e vasca idromassaggio e l'altro con doppio lavabo, bidet e box doccia. Colazione con ampio assortimento di dolce e salato, ci si può preparare una spremuta di arancia al momento.
La zona del chiostro è fresca e ideale per rilassarsi e prendere qualcosa.
Se proprio dovessi cercare il pelo nell' uovo, all' interno del box doccia manca un appoggio per i prodotti da bagno.
Ormai è abituale in parecchi hotel, non capisco perché si debba avere un piumoncino sul letto che ti obbliga a dormire con l'aria condizionata ...

Très bel établissement au cœur de Palerme
Si vous venez en voiture, préparez-vous à découvrir Palerme rue par rue. Malgré Google Maps, Waze et quatre appels à la réception, les seules indications obtenues ont été : « c'est facile ». Manifestement, c'est surtout facile quand on connaît déjà le chemin. Un simple plan d'accès envoyé avant l'arrivée aurait pourtant évité bien des détours.
Une fois arrivé, la déception continue. Les chambres sont loin du standing attendu d'un 4 étoiles : salle de bain mal conçue, douche qui fuit, et impossibilité de prendre une douche tout en fermant correctement la porte. Un concept sans doute innovant, mais peu pratique.
Cet hôtel vit clairement sur son emplacement exceptionnel. Pour le reste, le rapport qualité-prix est très décevant. À Palerme, vous trouverez sans difficulté mieux, parfois pour moins cher, et avec un personnel plus soucieux d'aider ses clients à arriver jusqu'à l'hôtel.
