Convenient location.
Pros:

Location was very central, close to all the attractions we were visiting (within walking distance). The rooms were spacious and clean.

Cons:

As the corridor leading to our rooms were not enclosed, flying insects (including mosquitoes) kept entering our rooms every time the door was opened.

Pros:

Free upgrade to larger room with riverside balcony.

Cons:

The views were construction cranes and not nice. At night a 100' wide TV screen with advertising ruins the atmosphere. I will not request a river view in the future.

A great place to stay in Ho Chi Minh, 20 minutes walk to everywhere. Visiting the tunnel and war museum, sky bar and social bar were the highlights

Great location to see all the sights
Pros:

Location was excellent. Room very quiet Beds were comfortable staff friendly and room was clean.

Cons:

The bathrooms/ wet room could have been better designed no where to hang towels after use. Not many hangers, and had to ask for toilet paper no spare left in room

Good location but very tired. The photos are deceptive.
Pros:

Good location, especially as we were catching the ferry to Vang Tau.
Breakfast was adequate.
We only stayed one night!

Cons:

Very tired, the room had an unpleasant odor. The curtains didn't keep out the bright lighting outside the room. The air-conditioner was noisy. It was impossible to shower without wetting the toilet and toilet paper.

HCMC Taxi menace.

Extortion by hotel organized taxi driver on our delivery to HCMC airport after traffic free fast 20 minute ride at 5.35 am seeking fare of 450000 vnd against 250000 quoted. He was able to speak English at the beginning of the journey but on arrival at the airport meaacingly demanded 450000 vnd by typingthe numberinto his calculator. He had no words only gesticulations for new fee. Scary guy.
