Marvelous Marriott.
Pros:

The rooms, the staff,the food and location.

Cons:

Having to leave.
The lounge and bar area would benefit from more comfortable seating to suit the elderly and added seating in the Foyet.

It's been great knowing you, Lingfield.
Pros:

I've stayed at the hotel many times over more than 10 years - sadly the reason for staying there has now come to an end. The staff were aware of this and were wonderful - I was given a card from the Manager and a bottle of wine, and treated kindly by all.

Cons:

The showers in some rooms could do with a deep clean and maintenance - some have mould in the silicon seals and the grout is often a little grubby. Some fittings are a bit loose.
