Lovely hotel but spa ruined the trip.
Pros:

It was beautiful, lovely area and perfect for my mums birthday night away.

Cons:

The issue we had was that me and my sisters booked it for my mums birthday. We booked it for the spa. As it was my mums birthday we were looking forward to the steam room and the spa treatments. We were very disappointed to see when we got there that the steam room and the spa treatments were closed or out of order. We do not like saunas as they are dry and I wanted to treat my mum to a spa treatment which I was unable to do. Teenage boys with their dad were splashing around in the pool and it was not a relaxing experience at all. This really ruined our trip and we weren’t pleased as this was the only reason we booked this hotel.

Relaxng stay.
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean. Had great view of the race course standing the rooms balcony. The location was perfect for visiting Hever Castle.

Cons:

Steam room and shower within the spa area not working.

A very relaxing 3 nights in a delightful area.
Pros:

Our room had a large window and overlooked the racecourse and there was racing. Staff were genuinely helpful and friendly.

Good location nice atmosphere in the bar area on Friday night and very clean hotel shame about house keeping on our room
Pros:

Location and bar staff great Friday night had a singer in the bar area who was very good and bar manager very good

Cons:

In room sugar was hard and not may either same goes for the milk and day time when our room was serviced no new glasses replaced for used ones no more tea bags or sugar top up also lights over kettle area did not work this is basic house keeping and I expected more from a Marriott having stayed in a lot of the hotel chain but I would stay again and hope it would be better

Great food, shame about the music !
Pros:

The food was excellent as were the staff.

Cons:

The awful music in the restaurant and the fact it was too loud.
Only the sauna was working in the steam room which we weren't o told about at Reception.
The pillows are absolutely dreadful - might be the worst I have ever experienced.

Great Stay brilliant Bar staff
Pros:

Fantastic stay there last week the standout for me is the Bar manager Dody he is super attentive and remembers everyone who has been before and makes the right amount of fuss. He also is equally focused on everyone else. If you could clone him everyone would have him in their Bar.

Highly recommend.
