Mantra on Mary is located in the heart of the Cross River Rail project and as such has recently experienced an increase in noise associated with the project. The noise is a combination from drilling, scrapping and machinery such as drill rigs and vac truck works. Construction works run predominantly from 6.30am to 10pm nightly 7 days a week however it is not uncommon for works to run through the night. All construction works are compliant and are in accordance with all government project approvals. Reception hours are 7:00-23:00 daily. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in. Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made. When booking 5 or more rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces.

Disappointing, not worth the stars rated, great location but tired and rundown room

The location was handy and I walked from parklands railway to mantra, easy walk also from riverstage.
Room was disappointing , location was great....but I do walk everywhere so distance didn't bother me

Cons:

I was harassed by visitors to a resident in the foyer repeatedly, the room was dirty particularly the shower/bath. There was black mould and buildup everywhere, so I didn't get to have a soak in the bath because there was HAIR and dirt in there, especially u der the shower screen gate between bath.

The sheets on bed looked dirty like the flat sheet hadn't been changed. Splatter marks on the bathroom wall, there was greasy fingerprints in there and on all mirrors, including the balcony rail glass.

The floor was sticky and didn't feel like it had been mopped correctly in a long time.

Cups were dirty and the kitchen be ches were so sticky.

I didn't sleep in the bed, I slept on the lounge with the one clean sheet I found, didn't cook only used fridge for a bottle of coke and had to wash two glasses before I used them.

There was water on the floor from the dishwasher leaking and I slipped coming home with a bruise.

Reported to reception I couldn't change water from showerhead to bath (before i did plan to use it) was told maintenance were fixing them from the ground levels up and I would need to fill bath using shower head (caked with scale and sticky).

Dissapointing overall very tatty and bad smell and bad air in the room

The rooms are smelly and old the carpets and curtains are in poor condition and smell even with the patio door open all time we were there it still smelled there was two bedrooms one single with no window so no air and no natural light the double room the curtain is hanging off and very tatty overall it’s at best a 2 star

Great location, super comfy beds and friendly helpful staff!
Pros:

Location was awesome, the staff who were mainly there when I was were super helpful and bubbly, the room was a great size and lots of tea to drink! Air conditioned worked very well would be great in summer!

Cons:

Tbh the things that could of been better didn’t bother us- the only thing was the pool was freezing 🙈 but apparently heated so we didn’t go in although would be good in the middle of summer

Pros:

Room was fantastic, very clean and tidy. Good amenities, easy to check in and check out. Parking was great having an allocated spot.

Cons:

Out of the hotels control, but roadworks outside of the building made it very confusing and difficult to figure out the location and find the entrance. Bath in the room was very tall, almost slipped over once trying to get out of it.

Great hotel in central location
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable but no balcony and very small window in bedroom, however, bed was extremely comfy and it had everything I needed. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of room in the 1 bedroom apartment. The location is great, easy walk to everything.
