Breakfast wasn’t good
Location
I reserved 1 night, tried to receive an additional night by was unable online. Called Clarion and was told that the only time I could add an additional day was when I first arrived and needed to talk to desk clerk. On the morning of the 25th, my friend was sitting on the bed and I was getting dressed. We heard the door close. My friend answered the door and the desk clerk was at the door, stated that I needed to check out. After I completed dressing, I went to the office. Told him that we did not hear a knock or announcement. I remembered him of the day before extending out stay by 1 night. He proceeded to say that I needed to check out from the Booking.Com reservation and then the Clarion reservation would start. He did not explain this on the day I arrived.
The shower had a crack from the top of the shower wall to the bottom.
The bathroom door did not latch when closed.
The breakfast eggs were watery.
The breakfast selection was the same each day.
Told the front desk that I did not want cleaning on the 24th, but they entered the room anyway.
The staff was wonderful. The location was in the middle of everything. The rooms were comfortable.

I appreciated the location, the beds were comfortable, I liked that it was close to where I needed to be, as I was on a business trip and it was within walking distance, I liked that the bathroom was nice, albeit small, the TV was nice, except for occasional malfunctions, my primary positive aspect was the beds, which were very comfortable, however, I did not like the pillows at all, for the most part, it was peaceful other than the fire trucks and sirens.
I was underwhelmed by the breakfast options, which I found to be limited, particularly in terms of yogurt and hot items. The hotel's exterior appearance was also a concern, as it appeared somewhat rundown and dirty. Furthermore, I had reservations about the elevator's condition. I was not pleased with the parking arrangements, and I was also dissatisfied that I could not connect my Roku to the TV, as this is typically possible in other hotels. I prefer to watch my own shows, and the inability to do so was a minor but notable inconvenience. Additionally, the proximity of the fire department, which resulted in frequent and loud siren noise at all hours, was a significant drawback. Another issue I encountered was the compact size of the bathroom, where the shower area was particularly cramped. I prefer to have the sink located within the bathroom, rather than in the main room, as this allows for greater convenience when showering and preparing for the day. The bathroom's limited space also made it difficult to dress or undress comfortably. Moreover, I was disappointed to discover that the hotel did not offer on-site laundry facilities or a pool, which I had been aware of prior to booking but still found to be a significant drawback. It would be different if I was on vacation, I probably would not book this hotel as I would want the amenities like the laundry and pool, but I was on business, so I did not need the pool, but at least the laundry, which I did not know they did not have, I only knew they did not have a pool.
