Overall we had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay with Zeus our dog.
Pros:

The property was lovely as we drove in with plenty of parking space. The grounds were clean tidy and kept well. The location was quiet with great forest and footpath walks steps from the hotel. We enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The food was also very nice.

Cons:

Only gripe we had was the cleanliness in the room, the bathroom was ok but hairs in the bath and floor mostly behind the door, high dusting wasn’t great and there were used cups left in the wardrobe.

Le pire hôtel de notre séjour
Pros:

Adequate for a one night stay.
Pros:

Location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Lennoxtown. The grounds were attractive, stunning hanging baskets at the entrance. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast excellent.

Cons:

The room was a little tired and lacked any seating, even a stool at the dressing table. Bed wasn’t that comfortable.

Excellent start for a Scotland Holiday or daytrips to Glasgow
Pros:

Convenient and quiet location just outside of Glasgow and for travelling to the Scotish highlands. Very friendly staff. Excellent food in the bar (pork belly highly recommended). Breakfast very good; recommend "full Scotish"! Parking no problem. Comming again when in the area.

No wedding reception during our stay!

Wonderful little hotel.
Pros:

Booked here for an overnight visiting family and was pleasantly surprised by this place. The grounds are beautifully kept and very pretty. The hotel is old and solid and in keeping with the Scottish theme of tartan. Our room was big and tastefully decorated with the comfiest bed we have slept in in a while (better than the Hilton the night before) 😁. The pillows were to die for. We slept in for the first time ever. The rooms are in a separate building but it's not inconvenient.
Booked a meal in the restaurant and the food was fabulous. Tasty and delicious and plentiful. Staff were extremely lovely , chatty and warm, nothing was to much trouble. Lovely little gem of a place would definitely stay here again

Wonderfully welcoming and dog friendly
Pros:

Stayed here last week for a couple of nights while visiting some friends in Glasgow, and had a wonderful time.

My wife and I had our Golden Retriever along on the trip, and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly to him or to us.

The room was exactly what you'd expect from a hotel of this time. It was spacious enough, clean, had a tub in the bathroom, not just a shower, the TV worked fine, there was plenty of hot water, etc.

We ate in the restaurant one evening, and honestly wished we were staying longer so we could do so again. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic, and the pricing was reasonable. We also sampled the breakfast, and it was the best black pudding I've had in some years!

The area that the hotel is in is lovely and quiet, wonderfully green, and utterly relaxing.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

Nice hotel and grounds. Lovely staff. Room definitely needs some TLC
Pros:

Staff were great. Breakfast was very good

Cons:

Room : Door to get in and out of the room extremely stiff and difficult to use.
Sliding door to the bathroom would not close which was unpleasant to say the least. The part of the slide that did work was very noisy which is not great if you have to get up in the night. The bed was also very noisy - loads of creaks and bumps. It was comfortable apart from that! Although we were provided with a clean shower mat, there was an old one in the shower itself when we got in the room. Made us wonder if the shower had been cleaned.
