Location turned out to be perfect for our Three Sisters and 1000 Steps experience. We walked there and back easily. "The Yellow Deli" was nearby and we went there twice! Hotel breakfast gave us a good start to our day.
Minor quibbles: I noticed the raised patterns on the bathroom door had lots of dust. The soap dish was only lightly attached to the wall. I hooked it back on, but it will fall off again. Was unable to open the bathroom window.
It was very relaxing and homey
Staff friendly, location great, grounds and motel very nice
The wi fi did not work. The air con was not great. Noisey hear people walking around above our room. Difficult for us to keep walking up and down stairs to our room.
Staff were very friendly, all areas were warm and comfortable.
Breakfast is pretty bland. Adding boiled eggs and seeds/other fruit would be good.
Breakfast was good. Plenty of food. Staff really nice. Michelle at check-in was a breath of fresh air . Nice older hotel, close to shops and the three sisters were in walking distance.
We genuinely love this hotel—its beautiful heritage, character and old-world décor are very special. We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday here five years ago and loved the experience so much that we returned this year to celebrate our little boy’s first birthday. The hotel itself has so much charm and holds wonderful memories for our family.
There were a few aspects of the hospitality that left us disappointed, particularly because we have such fond memories of this hotel.
As the hotel only serves breakfast, we had to order dinner externally. There are no plates and cutleries provided in the rooms. Twice our dinner delivery arrived without cutlery , so we asked if we could borrow three bowls and three forks. We were told that the issue was that they would then have to wash them and seemed quite unhappy. The interactions made us feel uncomfortable for asking for fairly simple things, especially while travelling with two young children.
We still love the hotel and its wonderful heritage, which is why we returned five years later for our son’s first birthday. We simply hope the warmth of the hospitality can match the beautiful character of the property in the future.
연식에 비해 너무나 깨끗하게 관리 되어 있고 직원이 친절함.
방이 좀 추웠고 조식이 아주 간단하게 준비 되어 있음.
Ambience
breakfast/dining area very cold and uninviting
Such a magnificent grand building!
Location was great 👍 staff were very welcoming and the place its self held so much beauty from the stunning entrance way all the way to the majestic ballroom make sure to look around its a true beauty. The breakfast was great too with a small selection of pastries you dont tend to see in places like this anymore
Soooo cooooold. Needed extra blankets .
Rug up it can ne windy and cold
Other then m0ther nature being difficult it was a perfect stay
Location was great.
Friendly staff
Breakfast staff on the second night of our accommodation. were inept. Asked twice for our room number to ensure we had breakfast included in our stay.
Our room was at the front and we could hear people leaving and shutting doors at 7am.
Room temperature was better when we used the oil heater...hidden in the cupboard. The air conditioning system sucked.
NO Internet Connection.
Beautiful venue and furnishings. Very friendly staff and great location. Overall pretty good value
Found a few hairs in the towels, could hear people walking through the corridors and not the best breakfast selection.
