My room was comfortable and walking distance to shops
Cons:

No directions for the use of the laundry soap dispenser. Staff did not credit me for a load that had no soap.

The place looked a bit old and tired.
I changed room because of the noisy air vent. They investigated and we saw the air filter covered with a thick layer of dust.

Couldn’t walk between panthers club and hotel if your not a member I think that should be everyone can go either way. You can walk from panthers to the hotel if your not a member but as you haven’t signed into panthers you can’t

Yes despite the pillows smell, I still want to stay in Mercure. I will say its very good hotel.
Pros:

It has a very good location, lots of parking, close to restaurants and all amenities.

The pillows smells old.

We love the Mecure for its quiet rooms and the Panthers Club next door offering so many food choices.

Cons:

Our beds were hard as rocks. We've never encountered this before when staying in other rooms here.
