Reliable, you know what you are going to get. The people who work there are always amazing!
Pros:

Always, clean and comfortable. Will be better when there is air con in the rooms in future.
Decor a little dated but that's ok when it's spotlessly clean as it always is.

Cons:

Please update the hairdryers in the rooms... they are so dated and it took 40mins for me to dry my hair!
Also, my tea and coffee hadn't been replenished so I had one teabag.

Spacious and clean room lovely breakfast nice staff. The adjoining resturant was very nice really recommend

Cons:

Booked in for treatments at the spa for when I checked out and there wasn't any beauty therapist on that day. The staff didn't call my room to advise so I took my daughter for a treatment just for us to be sent away again it did put a damper on the weekend.

Excellent service and value for money
Pros:

Excellent meal in the Carter & Fitch restaraunt. Initially served by Patrick, excellent customer service followed by Amber and Matty, again excellent customer service. Our meal was value for money, very tasty and the service was excellent. We will be back, keep up the high standards. Collin & Maria

Patrick is amazing
Pros:

Took my Dad for his 84th birthday and had an amazing time. Patrick was fantastic from serving drinks and being our waiter he is friendly pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us. 10/10 Patrick your amazing.

A lovely day for a wedding
Pros:

Thank you to the George Washington for a lovely wedding day. We got married on 10th July. We had an outside wedding as we had our dog attending our day which the hotel allowed for us.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We went for 4pm which was a perfect time.

The only complaint I can say was the air-conditionin the night before did not work in our room. Trying to get hair and make up done was difficult, luckily they moved us to the conference room to get our dresses on.

The grounds are lovely for photos.

Average contractors hotel !
Pros:

Very average hotel
Some staff were extremely polite but all were very forgetful
Rubbish all over the golf area for the two days we were there
I’m not sure how groundsman are supposed to cut the grass
This is a contractors hotel…….
Let me add there is nothing wrong with that but the profanity was through the roof in the restaurant and no one said anything to anyone
I also find it disgusting that certain people forget how to wash before joining breakfast
Some of the people in that breakfast room were a health hazard, because of this I never ate anything for the fear of touching something which had been handled by someone who had obviously recently dragged themselves out of bed, picked up the nearest clothes off the floor and tottered off downstairs to spread germs everywhere
I found this revolting
We won’t be staying here again
Very disappointed
May I add that if you wish to do something whilst at the hotel forget it or else you play golf or go the gym
There is absolutely nothing to do around here so think on before booking !
