The staff were so nice and the rooms were lovely and clean
Nothing, everything was perfect
We had a beautiful room located outwith the hotel. Had a lovely garden area. Very tranquil and relaxing. The rooms were spacious. Comfortable bed. Clean and all amenities there we needed.
Restaurant service was awful from our experience. Booked a table for dinner, waited 30 minutes to be served drinks. Waited 45 minutes to be asked what we wished to have for dinner. Then we were told there was issues with the kitchen which we understood and there was a reduced menu. Waited another 25 minutes for a starter.we did not stay for the main meal as the time was unacceptable. The service was extremely poor and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Did not enjoy the food that was presented.
Location
Room of full of Mosquitos - tiny room in the Eaves beware if you are staying there on any of these super hot days - avoid Room 11
Reception staff were so dull and unhelpful - all the staff seemed slightly distant and not engaged in why there were there
Great staff, really really lovely and helpful. Food great and beautiful property.
Very good location and staff super professional. The room was clean and nothing to fault on that end.
Our room was at the front + old pub hence was very noisy and can hear everything from upstairs rooms. Lots of mosquitos as well. The food is a bit pricey and not as we expected. The showers in the room have very little pressure and could do with an update
Everything was spot on .. excellent hotel
Nothing
Sehr schönes ebenerdiges Zimmer, perfekt mit unserem Hund. Sehr feines Frühstück mit Buffet und ausgezeichnetes Nachtessen und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Relaxed approach and calm setting
My bathroom window was facing/open to the room next doors patio area.
There was a woman reading a book looking into my bathroom when I went to take a shower.
Beautiful building and superb room , would definitely stay again
Waiting staff didn’t come to us at breakfast . We had to find someone to ask for tea and coffees etc .
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much - the room, food, staff and service were very good - especially during a heatwave.
Our bedroom was very hot and the fan provided did little to help. A flat sheet rather than a heavy duvet would have made sleep easier too. I think the hotel may benefit from some safety rails and non slip mats in the slippery walk in shower in our room.
Was a beautiful location
Lack of privacy -people in courtyard could see into our room
Music playing outside until 11pm on a Monday night, right next to us.
Included Breakfast was minimal and only cereal and pastries. You had to pay for a proper breakfast, which was a big reason we booked. Very disappointed and would not recommend
The setting was amazing and the breakfast
The price was ridiculous, this was a 70th birthday treat get away for my father and im so disappointed in our stay.
Firstly the room was very grubby everything was covered in a thick layer of dust and I mean a thick layer!! The kettle was rusty i had marks in the toilet and hair in my shower.
The beds were very comfy I do have to give it that.
The TV remote was covered in dust with gaffer tape holding the batteries in and the carpets were very worn and in need of a good clean, my room was 11.
In the evening we ordered food in the bar at 7.30 and by 9pm was told they had a function on of over 100 people so we would have to wait for our food and when it did arrive at just after 9.30 we didn't want it and went to bed...this i did complain about had did get a refund I just wish I had showed a member of staff my room but I didn't want to spoil my fathers 70th treat.
Great location
Over priced for what it is
Had to wait over an hour for food
Rooms boiling hot without ventilation
Dirty coffee cups at breakfast
No hot water in Room 14.
Staff inattentive
Excellent breakfast! We truly enjoyed our stay here although just for 1 night, we did a last minute booking as we were tired after exploring the country side and decided to find a hotel, what a delight it was! Beautiful little place, with county charm. Beautifully appointed bedroom and with all the amenities, everything was spotless!!!
nothing
The Frogmill is a lovely hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very pleasant. A good bonus was having a large fan in the room for the 35 degree temperature. We also ate at their restaurant and the food was excellent, tasty and plentiful.
