Overall room was lovely and location is out of the way. Food was the worst experience I’ve ever had.
Pros:

Room was lovely.

Cons:

After checking the reviews of the food we made a decision to stay at the hotel ( room 8 ) and book a table. Huge mistake. Me and my partner travel all over. (Once a month to a different location) I have never had a fillet stake aa awful in my life or overall food. I sent my fillet stake back as it was 50% the size smaller than my partners and was overcooked to well done, costing £39 each just for the fillet alone. Chips comes with it apparently even though I was charged and sauce is charged. They sent me out 3 portion of chips which did not put Parmesan or truffles on so the waiter having to keep going back to the kitchen. After they overcooked my fillet (well done) when I asked for medium it took another 30/40 minutes for my dish to come out again. My partners steak was also cooked wrong but she just couldn’t be bothered to say anything and wait any longer. We was at the meal for 1 hour 45minutes and I only just got my main meal. That then came out with no sauce and cooked well done again. After I mentioned all this the waitress (manager was lovely) she took it off the bill. I explained I wasn’t bothered if I’m honest about the bill it’s the fact that it’s ruined the mood for our stay. We ended up being in the restaurant for over 2 and a half hours taking away our experience else where/in the room. I bought the best room to have time on the patio but spent barley no time. I ordered 1 drink at the bar after and they got that wrong also. At checkout staff were apologetic that’s all really. Came over and said “they took the fillet off the bill” like that was the only issue. After spending over £220 on just the room. I would of also thought that would have breakfast maybe included but not.

Would definitely recommend and will be staying again!
Pros:

I thought the property was beautiful, the rooms were lovely and spacious with amazing amenities. The location was great too. The room was very clean with lots of extras such as homemade cookies to have with coffee which was a lovely touch and beds with treats and water/food bowls for our dogs. I like that the rooms are situated away from the noise of the pub which make them seem very private. There was a table and chairs outside which we were able to make use of and sit in the sunshine! Also great when you have dogs as it’s easy access for them to go to the bathroom!

Cons:

The only thing sadly letting the property down would be that I feel the property is understaffed and some staff seemed as if they didn’t really want to be there. I attempted to have lunch to begin with to be told that I had missed the cut off with no alternative suggestions or offers other than to go somewhere else. I opted to go to the bar myself and order some crisps and just wait until dinner. Dinner was great, I had an amazing lady (think her name is Sarah) serving us at dinner and some young men who were great, but in the morning the breakfast was a little confusing as nobody was there to greet and seat us. It just seemed a little chaotic like the two girls who seemed to be the only people serving were stressed and overstretched possibly. I overheard a few tables requesting coffees etc they had been waiting for. I had to also go find someone to serve us. Apart from that the atmosphere, food and everything else was excellent.

Stayed here for a business trip as very close to the customer I was visiting.
Pros:

Room was lovely discribed as a cosy twin which is was, nicely decorated and good facilites in the room. Shower very powerful and liked the addition of the heated towel rail.

Cons:

Room on the top floor. no lift and steep stairs and had to go through a door halfway up. Not easy to get up with cases. Thought it is was rather expensive as paid £186 for one night and that did not even include breakfast.

Pros:

We liked the room.

Cons:

The limited restaurant options. They ran out of orange juice, they didn't have certain items that were advertised on their menu. There was a broken chair in their restaurant that had been sitting there for 2 days, it was quite obviously a hazard but we advised the staff that it was a hazard to people who could fall.

Pros:

We stayed only for one night at Frogmill as a stop over and we wished we had more time to stay longer. Staff were absolutely amazing, our room was cosy, clean and full of character. Food in restaurant was delicious and breakfast in the morning was great.
