Famous Hotel Kuta

For $35 it was a good room. The staff was amazing. The massage and body scrub by “grandma” was fantastic🔥 it was so good I scheduled another session for my last day. All the staff was nice and helpful. The Food was great.

We recently booked a room at the Famous Hotel and we were very disappointed. On first appearance the internal lobby and staircase looks great and they have made it look good in photos. In reality it’s very dated and falling apart. Our room was shocking - dirty bathroom, stains on the bedroom floor, water leaking in the fridge. There was no spare toilet paper in the bathroom and the toilet was hissing the whole time. No bin liners in the bin. We ate at the pool bar and while the service was good the food was terrible. We ordered a chicken burger and it was a mashed up mushy patty of mystery meat. We didn’t eat it. Our fries were soggy and just over all unpleasant. The mosque is very close to this hotel and very very loud multiple times throughout the day. This hotel would be good for a back packing experience but I would not recommend it at all to families.

The buffet breakfast needs better management... It is not good enough to have half the buffet items used and not replaced. All that was left was rice and tofu. Fish none, no vegetables, chicken... only scraps left, many staff doing nothing, coffee pot empty, 10 mins to get refill.
Who ever is in charge of breakfast needs another job, because he or she is no good at this one!

All the staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast with asian selection was perfect.

The place is nice, and the room, except for the air conditioner, is leaking. The floor is flooding, causing my clothes from my luggage to get wet.

The staff are all so kind and helpful, they always made sure me and my friend had everything we needed, rooms are clean bathrooms are good, it’s quiet and good location :)

I had a wonderful experience at Famous Hotel Kuta. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. I highly recommend Famous Hotel Kuta for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay with top-notch service. Wawan Duty Manager did excellently with his hospitality making me feel welcome. Would definitely return!

Nobody really spoke much English. Bar was not stocked. Rooms very small. Our fridge wasn’t working.

Pool was nice and cold but could be cleaner.

This hotel was very dirty, has a bug infestation they do not care to fix. Their air conditionings and ceilings contain mold they claim to be unaware off and do not provide a care to fix or get seen to. This hotel is not the spot to stay

Ad looks beautiful, arrival - no one helped with bags, we got two adjoining rooms, both were dirty - mold in shower walls, stains on floors and water marks/dirt around sinks. One toilet was broken, shower water leaked out into main room. Beds were hard as stone, pillows as well. Pool smelled like sewer, included breakfast was not good - egg station was okay. We were only there for a few hours as we had a late flight in and were moving to a new location in the AM - thankfully.

I used this room as a
transit room as I had an 11.30pm flight. I arrived early and staff at reception were very friendly and polite. They were able to get me into a room quicly so I wasn't left sitting around in the lobby. Check out was also smooth, staff were very polite.and ensured I had a ride to the airport.

This place is old, smelly, and dirty. I woke up with a rash on my face from sleeping on the pillow. The walls are incredibly thin, I heard someone’s alarm go off at 3am and felt like I was in the room as the alarm. Only stayed here bc it was close to the airport and I landed too late to get to my other accommodation in northern Bali. Have tried the Hilton and the Novotel by the airport in the past but they were both booked. Not recommending this place to anyone!
