Exceptional hotel with lush gardens and stunning views, a beautiful pool and so much character! Staff is very nice, breakfast has some amazing cakes. Room was clean and simply perfect. A treat to stay here for a night, wish we could have stayed longer.
Prices at the bar, bistro and the gourmet restaurant are very very high.
If you want something romantic with just a perfect environment with extremely lovely gardens and splendid views on the sea and the islands / volcanoes. This is the place to be. Great breakfast included, Lunch in the bistro excellent. 1* Michelin restaurant (probably fantastic food, but quite pricey). 5 min. walk down to the lovely pebble beach, but so relaxing pool with breathtaking views. Very friendly personel (they tried very hard to fullfill your whims and wishes) - if Graciana is still there - what a warm soul !
It is pricey and most of the rooms in this fantastic environment lack sunlight (as the traditional houses where meant to keep the inside cool, so not many windows) except the suite which was really great (and thanks again for making it possible for us to stay there).
We received an upgrade on arrival
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Signum. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the Aeolian Islands and a sense of privacy and exclusivity that made it feel like a true escape.
What made our stay especially memorable was the service. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. By the end of our visit, we felt less like hotel guests and more like part of the family.
The combination of understated luxury, breathtaking surroundings, and exceptional hospitality made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had. We would return without hesitation.
personally I had a beautiful room with some view of the sea and distant islands but my travel companions had much more limited views and the ground floor rooms had no view and felt a little damp.
restaurant experience was disappointing compared with other experiences around the island.
Everything was perfect: The People on every Place, the fantastic food and the menu, the Poolarea, the SPA, the surroundings - A good style. The only thing we didn't particularly care for was the bistro's concept. The wine list is far too limited and overpriced (ranging from €35–€45 for whites and €55–€75 for reds). Had the bistro’s concept incorporated a bit more local fare and affordable wines—much like Quadrata, for instance—we certainly would have dined at Signum more frequently on our "non-gourmet-menu" days. All in all, however, we still felt very comfortable at Signum! We would happily return!
The hotel is something close to paradise. The only minus is actually related to the bar and restaurant. The food is excellent, but the wine is extremely expensive and the price does not even reflect the quality of the wine. The Michelin star restaurant is probably great but the prices are more like 3 stars than 1...
TUTTO! Location stupenda, posto da sogno. Personale disponibilissimo e ottima qualita’ dei servizi offerte!
Tutto fantastico, location super. Tutto organizzato per rilassarsi il più possibile
Staff super accogliente, pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi tipo di esigenza.
My wife and I had the most amazing visit to Hotel Signum. The island of Salina is magical, and the hotel is perfectly located in Malfa, looking out at the Mediterranean and the islands of Stromboli and Panarea, which you can see from their patio. The atmosphere is rustic but in an elegant way, and you feel you are transported into a special world. The staff are so warm and friendly, instantly making us feel welcome. They are the real treasure of the hotel. And our room was perfect, with a lovely view of the Mediterranean from our private patio in front, and a beautiful lemon tree by our door. The room was spacious and elegant while retaining a lovely rustic feel. Just perfect. The hotel is an amazing value, as it is quite affordable given the luxury and elegance of the hotel. We will definitely be back!
