Very well appointed hotel, right in the middle of the town. Old, historic and lovely food too. I had the " full Grosvenor " breakfast which was OK BUT the Pork dinner I had at night was exceptional- not cheap but you get what you pay for.
The breakfast was only average and should've been hotter.

Our room was right beside a very noisy generator which went on most of the night. Also, the alternative to a rain head shower was only a handheld - not adequate for that price
Gorgeous hotel. The room was large and felt very luxurious. We ate there on the first evening and the food was great and very good value. The welcome from staff was brilliant - very friendly and helpful.

Food, facilities and staff were all exceptional, very impressed with this boutique hotel. Special mention to Josh who really looked after our party of 4, super hospitality.
Great location
Xmas eve the bar closed at 10, my relatives were staying specially so family could meet and enjoy the evening. We were less than politely rushed out. Breakfast Xmas day was flat! No festive atmosphere at all. All in all it felt like staff weren’t wanting to be there. We appreciate it was Xmas but either close or make guests welcome.
I travel every week - and this maid my travelling more of a pleasure!
Small thing - but put handrail in shower to enable easier exit and reduce risk of slipping.
