Sí, me gustó, sobre todo la atención del personal
El acceso en coches es complicado, hubo un Taxi que no quiso hacerme el trayecto al hotel
I visited this boutique hotel as a female solo traveller in Jan/Feb 2026. I am quite surprised by some of the negative reviews as overall I had a very positive experience personally. I took great time and care to pick a hotel given it was a solo trip and I was keen to stay somewhere characterful in a good location. I was really delighted with my choice, The hotel's location is wonderful. Situated perfectly in the old town, with views of the cathedral from the rooftop area - both the cathedral and palace are only very short walks away. My taxi dropped me right at the entrance to the hotel - with another car picking me up immediately outside to return me to the airport. So it is possible to drive to the hotel! Narrow cobbled streets - but this does not mean it isn't accessible by taxi! I opted for a ground floor room with patio area. This had pros and cons - the patio and the room itself were lovely - though I wasn't able to take full advantage of the patio due to the weather. The bathroom was well stocked and laid out. Given it's location, it had less natural light but it was cosy and the temperature was fine too. It's located immediately off the atrium where breakfast is served from 8-11 daily. So just before 8am you can hear some noise from the breakfast area but this did not bother me too much - the bells from local churches toll regularly too. I actually found this charming rather than a nuisance! If visiting again, I might opt for a room on a higher floor with views of the city. Around 10 mins after check in, there was a knock at my door and a lovely server gave me a complimentary bottle of cava which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet is fabulous - excellent wide range of breads, coffees and teas, juices, fruit, yoghurts, cheese and hot foods (eggs, bacon etc). It was wonderful. I thought the hotel was very clean. I would recommend!
Brilliantly located near the Cathedral in the Santa Cruz district, the hotel gave us a high-ceilinged, characterful room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning barely worked, which was OK in the 10 - 14 degree temperatures, but would be inadequate in the Summer. Cleanliness was excellent throughout and the service was good. The pool terrace would be great in decent weather, particularly with the great Sangria the hotel makes. The buffet breakfast was good.
Fantastic location (not if you are driving maybe) near to all major attractions, walking distance from almost everywhere you are likely to want to visit. So many restaurants within minutes and it’s a joy to wander the charming cobbled streets of the Barrio Santa Cruz. Breakfast were great and the complimentary afternoon tea very nice. Fabulous sangria but the snacks from the menu not so good. Bed extremely comfortable.
Air con in room not very efficient and when we had to mop up some water from the bathroom floor we found it to be dirty. The snacks we ordered from the patio menu were dismal (toasted cheese sandwich and cheeseboard - not worth the money) and staff adequate but not what I would call helpful. Also don’t plan for a lie in - too close to the cathedral and the constant bells for that!
Beautiful historic building in a perfect location. Wonderful breakfast and a happy hour which exceeded expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will never forget our stay at this boutique hotel.
Posizione ottima.
Nulla.
a truly fantastic experience from start to finish, beautiful room, professional and friendly staff and perfect location. Special thanks to Andrea for arranging an upgrade to our room, would
definitely stay here again and recommend without hesitation, we didn’t want to leave!
Came to visit Seville during rain season. Afternoon tea and the hotel vibe was great. Checked in. Afternoon tea was great. During the evening went out to celebrate my partners birthday. Came back to the room after walking in the rain, wanted a warm shower to get ready for bed. Half way through the shower, relize there is no body foam left at all. I wasn’t prepared to stop my shower half way to call room service to come fill it up. As it wasn’t the single use disposal style, it was a pump bottle that you refill. So the room service have to come in open the bottle refill it. Next morning, we needed to rush to the airport as the weather really bad. Wanted to have a quick shave, opened the shaving kit provided, there was no razor just a small pouch of shaving cream. I wish when they fixed up the room from the previous guest they checked all the details.
We stayed here for six nights in January 2026. This is a delightful boutique hotel in a converted old town house built around two patios, perfectly located next to the Cathedral and Alcazar, and in walking distance of many of the main sights.
We asked for a quiet room, and were indeed given one of the quietest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, with no noise any of the nights we were there, in spite of the hotel being located in the middle of streets of lively tapas bars.
The lounge is in two parts on either side of the breakfast bar. The breakfast is extensive and delicious, with (a particular highlight) many kinds of fresh bread including rye and seeded, self-operated nespresso machines, juice, yoghurts, smoothies, fruit salads, ham, smoked salmon, cheeses, and the usual bain marie with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a couple of other hot options which changed every day.
In the late afternoons, afternoon tea is laid out, with appetising snacks to keep you going until Spanish dinner time.
Our room was spacious, clean and well furnished, with an ample wardrobe, nespresso machine, minibar and kettle with a selection of teas. The bathroom was spacious and well provided with toiletries.
The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. A lovely touch were the various gifts that kept arriving unbidden every afternoon, such as a bottle of cava, a clip-on reading light, a wooden stand for a phone/ipad, a blindfold & earplug kit (not actually needed!) and some moisturiser and body scrub.
Location perfect. Staff very helpful. Room beautiful presented but a bit small. Room had one chair and as weather was wet we were in and out and had to sit on bed having a cuppa. We did have a courtyard with seating but weather prevented us from using it. Next time we will book superior room without courtyard and maybe get bigger room.
This hotel is in an excellent location in Seville, situated in the old town and very close to the cathedral and Alcázar palace. However it is also peaceful and calm, with staff who are helpful and cheerful at all times. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and interesting, and the complimentary afternoon snacks are most welcome after a busy day.
Location perfect. Staff brilliant
Room was beautiful presented but quite small. We were out most of day but rainy weather meant we were in and out of room. Only one chair so meant having to sit on bed. There was not enough space for another chair.
This hotel is very dirty. Semen stains on the bedspread and what looked like blood on the bench. They tried to offer me a different room but I was very uncomfortable staying there especially as a solo female traveler.
Super unhappy to report that they are REFUSING TO REFUND ME. They claim the offer of second room was enough.
Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!
Totally disgusting and horrible customer service. Stay at the Mercer it is lovely and the same price and better location.
Casa 1800 is right in the middle of the old city, within 5 minutes walk of both the Cathedral and the Alcazar. Surrounded by many tapas bars and restaurants, it remains an oasis of calm and quiet. The room we had was luxurious and spacious, the complimentary bottle of chilled cava and afternoon tea a nice touch.
Our only issue was, at breakfast all three mornings, items ran out or were absent. We had to find a member of staff ( not easy) explain what was wrong and then stand about for several minutes until the missing food/drink (even water !) was fetched. Not a good start to the day.
I would otherwise have given 5 stars
A wonderful stay in a perfectly central location. The hotel is within walking distance of all major monuments, which made sightseeing very convenient. A big plus was a great vegan restaurant just a 2-minute walk away. The staff were friendly, and the property was neat, clean, and well maintained. Highly recommended.
We stayed there four nights and had a great experience with the hotel and the staff. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. They have excellent breakfast and afternoon snacks. The location could not be better - it is right next to the cathedral. I would highly recommend it!
