The hotel is in a bustling part of the city close to the cathedral and other places of interest.
The rooms all seemed to be quite compact. The first room we were in was on the ground floor with a small patio. Just off the corridor from the door was the bathroom area. It was a small toilet and bidet “cubicle” with glass door, opposite a shower “cubicle “ with a glass door connected by a small washbasin area. When showered you were getting dried in the hallway, effectively. We changed rooms, with the help of our travel agents, to a better room on the first floor. The toilet, bidet and washbasin were together and the shower over the bath. The room was still quite compact.
The hotel and rooms were clean.
The buffet breakfast wasn’t a success for us at all. The tables are set, some for 4, some for 2. Unfortunately people arrived and sat at the 4 tables leaving us, travelling as a four, to sit apart. They don’t appear to have enough staff on at breakfast. The food is not replenished quickly enough and it’s hard to find a member of staff to speak to at times. There were no glasses at one time and no plates for quite a long time. The staff came out and cleared some tables and it was obvious that the plates had just been washed. There was quite a wait for ordered items.
Some of the reception staff were friendly.
With a little bit of care and attention it could be much better.

Property is very central. We had a lovely big room with two windows and comfortable bed. We love the afternoon tea.

Beautiful hotel in the city center, where everything is close. Very good breakfast and beautiful terrace at the roof. Very friendly staff.
The hotel is in the best central location - short walk to Alcazar. It’s beautifully appointed in traditional Spanish style. Breakfast buffet is fantastic as is the 4-6pm happy hour. Staff is exceedingly friendly & helpful. A special shout out to Clara, part of hotel management, who was so friendly & accommodating & went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.
Location was great. As for the hotel nicely decorated and calm.
Bedroom very small (claustrophobic) we had a view to a wall and it smelled of sewage from the bathroom, which was solved with cleaning products, and we were informed that it's normal due to change in weather. Though considering a daily rate of 300 EUR. it would have been nice to know this beforehand or potentially change room, or even a discount. Given our stay was to celebrate our wedding anniversary it wasn't very romantic.

Horrible experience!!
They gave us a room at check-in. After we unpacked, we realize AC was not working, which their staff knew but ignored to tell us!! They said "oh yeah, ac will work tomorrow!!". Then they offered to "upgrade" us for 1 night They gave us a smaller room with a useless outdoor jaccuzi but we had to check out at 12 noon next day to move to our category room at 3 pm!!! Unpack 3 times for a 2 night stay???
We asked for a refund so that we could move to a different hotel but they flatly refused, they said you can leave but we won’t give your money back!! Staff was really unhelpful and was offended by our ask and honestly quite rude
We contacted booking.com who were quite unhelpful and said they had passed on our complaint to the hotel!!
This was our favorite hotel in Spain. Great restaurant close by. Convenient location. Beautifully renovated historic building.
Tout excepté les enfants qui crient pendant leur petit-déjeuner alors que la fenêtre de la chambre 105… donne sur la cour intérieure où se trouve le petit déjeuner… et qu’il est 07h30 du matin. Ils ont crié pendant que leurs parents les ont regardés sans intervenir pendant toute la durée de leur petit-déjeuner ; c’est à dire 30 minutes environs.
Sinon, tout est au top dans votre établissement que je recommande à tous. Le personnel est également au top.
