I recently enjoyed a high tea at the Royal Mansour in Marrakech, and it was a truly lovely experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the service was warm and attentive. The selection of sweets and savory bites was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from. I especially appreciated that the portions were not too large, which made it easy to try a bit of everything without feeling overwhelmed.
Everything I tasted was delicious — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The only downside for me was the coffee, which I didn’t find very good. Luckily, the rest of the high tea more than made up for it.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.
In over 30 years of luxury travel this is arguably the most luxurious Resort and service levels I have ever experienced. Pictures don’t do it justice.
The Riads are impeccably designed and decorated. The staff, including dedicated butler, catered to our every whim. The dining, spa, pool and cooking class facilities were all fantastic. Highly recommended!
Simply the best hotel in the world
Every single reason for enjoying a hotel is beyond beyond
Serviço impecável, decoração incrível
We will never again in our lives stay at another hotel as luxurious as this one. It was as if we were living in a museum with staff available to do everything for us.
Çok şık, çok ince düşünülmüş bir otel. Servis ve olanaklar çok iyi
Tesisteki italyan restaurantı yeterli bilgi vermediği için yiyebileceğimizden fazla sipariş vermek zorunda kaldık, umduğumuzdan çok daha fazla para ödedik, ayrıca extralara dikkat etmek gerekli içmediğimiz yemediğimiz şeyleri eklemişler.
Royal Mansour provides the highest standard of luxury in every respect. I had a 3 story Riad with a floor for living, another for sleeping and the rooftop for relaxing. The detailed design and carving on the doors, ceiling and walls was exquisite. The linens were soft and the amenities were high quality. Room service was quick and brought out a huge spread for breakfast. A bottle of champagne, a bowl of delicious oranges and a tray of dried fruit and chocolates was laid out in the living room table as a welcome gift.
My only suggestion is to improve the lighting in the bedroom and inform guests with mobility issues about the numerous stairs.
I will return and if you have a doubt about staying here, I hope my words will inspire you. It is a once in a lifetime hotel experience.
It's a lovely place but we wish we had stayed at La Mamounia - we stayed at both places in order to make a comparison. Our riad was very nice, no doubt about it, but we grew weary of the two flights of stairs to the bedroom area. Rooftop terrace was on the fourth floor. We had great meals in the french restaurant and room service meal from the moroccan restaurant, however our waiter took a half bottle of champagne with him after delivering the room service meal. Breakfast was great. Hamman bath was fabulous.
When booking our first trip to Marrakesh we were torn between here and the Mamounia but having eaten and visited both now this beats Mamounia hands down for anyone wanting an authentic Moroccan experience with global 5 star services and food. We really couldn't fault it and would definitely return.
The facilities, spa, restaurants were all wonderful (Marocaine restaurant is a must) and the riads were absolutely stunning.. Staff couldn't have done more for us. Not a budget option but well worth the money if you can afford it you won't be disappointed.
Our stay at the Royal Mansour was, quite simply, memorable and unparalleled. It is not merely an exceptional luxury hotel, but a way of understanding hospitality: the guest is not treated as a client, but as an honored invitee.
The Royal Mansour seems to embody a vocation that goes far beyond accommodation itself: to represent the country, to contribute to its image, and to offer a form of hospitality that truly honors Morocco. The entire team acts as host not only of the hotel, but also of the city and the country. The prevailing feeling throughout the stay is one of generosity, genuine care, and sincere attention.
Extraordinary, impeccable luxury coexists naturally with an authentic sense of simplicity —the kind that comes from truly understanding what the guest one wishes to welcome and delight genuinely values. Nothing feels staged. Everything flows effortlessly. Privacy, exclusivity, and the excellence of the facilities are seamlessly combined with warmth, kindness, and human closeness, qualities rarely found at this level of hospitality.
A way of understanding hospitality that elevates the destination and leaves an indelible memory in those who experience it.
The BEST experience EVER! We loved everything about our stay at Royal Mansour—the riad itself, the amazing and kind staff, the food, the hammam. Thank you to Fathallah and the staff for making our stay a truly magical and unforgettable experience!
An outstanding hotel. Easily the best we have ever stayed in. From pick up at the airport to check in and all else just faultless. It’s def like living in a Royal palace. The price is commensurate with the quality of the service.
We had a very pleasant experience at the Royal Mansour. We sat at the end of the afternoon in the Jardin and had a great time. Hicham, our waiter provided and excellent service.
I was heading to a yoga retreat on the outskirts of Marrakech, but thought I’d treat myself to a few days here before the retreat. Words cannot convey how truly amazing this property is. However what truly sends it into the stratosphere of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at is the staff and attention to detail. Every meal, every interaction was phenomenal. I will say it was difficult for me to leave this hotel for a yoga center. Hopefully I will be back in the future!
Just three minute walk from Nobu where we stayed, it was recommended to visit here for atmosphere, cultured history of Marrakesh. Well we had the most enjoyable afternoon having a light lunch and tea. The grounds and design we tranquil, it's like a secret hidden behind the Marrakesh walls. Great for inspiration, writing and of course pictures. We just loved it. They have Moroccan villas available for four and day rooms for a experience. It's a very special place to create memories.
The price of this hotel is insane and it was a splurge for me to stay. That being said you get a lot of bang for your buck. You get a Riad/Guest House to yourself. Very private and secluded with a courtyard. A den/lounge area and kitchenette on the first floor. Bedroom on the second floor, and a third floor/roof with a plunge pool and deck. The opulence and level of detail in the decoration is off the charts. The restaurants are top notch. If you want to live like royalty for a few days you can not go wrong with The Royal Mansour in Marrakech.
