Great location for Winchester with friendly on staff.
Pros:

Great location near to Winchester with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Nice airy feel in central atrium of the hotel. Room clean and bright.
Helpful and friendly staff on the desk. Staff on breakfast duty in the restaurant really friendly and efficient. Great breakfast- quality bacon and sausage and a wide variety of cold options and fresh fruit.

Cons:

The windows don’t open in the bedrooms which is standard these days, but we would have liked the aircon to go lower than 18 degrees- it was a little warm for good sleep.
We found the bath/shower a little awkward to get in and out of as the side is quite high and the entrance is quite narrow.

Very good!!
Pros:

Very good parking, silly that not included in price ( but knew beforehand)

Cons:

Unfortunately had adjoining rooms and for some reason only one was cleaned and made up. But this was only a small hiccup that was rectified.
Windows did not open up at all

Pros:

Great restaurant. Lovely staff

Cons:

Room key didn't work. One overnight - had to go to the desk three times to get in the room. When I left again, had to go twice to rewrite the cards. Hugely frustrating and not fixed

Paying for parking!
The room needs to have coat hangers. There isn't anywhere to hang wet coats.

A gem of a place
Pros:

Quiet location with easy access to Winchester.
The lovely, warm, friendly and helpful receptionist called Jade. Cleanliness. Modern interior. Chilled ambience. Large car park

Cons:

The inability to open windows in bedroom.
Room too hot.
