Lovely stay at unique location
Pros:

Nice and accessible to the facilities I wanted! Staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was nice too

Hotel is very good however let down by the restaurant
Pros:

On check in the staff were very polite. The room was fantastic and very quiet. Bar area was spacious with the good selection of drinks. The hotel was clean and well presented.

Cons:

Unfortunately the restaurant was disappointing, the evening meal was not the standard we expected. Breakfast on the first morning was good although the layout of the restaurant resulted in it being very noisy. Second morning breakfast was very disappointing. Ordered off the a la carte menu, poached smoked haddock with poached eggs. The fish was disgusting cold all the way through and raw in the middle. One of the two coffee machines was not working correctly, which I brought to the attention of a staff member, who then tried to explain the difference between coffee options in a condescending manner.

The location was slightly further away from the town/high street. You need your own car/book a taxi to get to/from the hotel and the town centre.

Not staying again
Pros:

The room was not what I expected. I liked the gym. I complained and they blamed booking.com

Cons:

The carpet was wet, bathroom dirty, room had a smell to it, air con unit not fitted correctly to wall.

Slept and ate well, expensive all round for what it is and let down by cheap bathroom and lack of attention to detail.
Pros:

Excellent food, friendly staff, very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Very Pricey - Bank Holiday Weekend and prices jacked up. Bathroom in the room is a joke. Tiny, pokey, had been painted in the multi-million £ renovation but you have to strep over a v high bath to get into proximity to a shower that is an extension hanging on the wall at the back of the bath, you have to lean into it to wash your hair and the pressure is woeful. It’s the details that let you down and in this case it’s the lack of attention to detail that really lets the place down. It’s 4 star facilities like pool gym etc and a gee rear lobby area , it’s 2 star bathroom and 3 star bedroom. Such a shame. Oh and the bathroom when cleeaned- the towels were never re-hung properly and clean glasses in the bedroom not provided - lack of attention to detail as I said

Great stay and worth the money, parking should be free.
Pros:
