Would bd relectant to stay again
Cons:

Door keys defective meaning had to go to reception to seek entry. Was told they get deactivated if kept near to phone. Unacceptable in this day and age. Very inconvenient. Also tv remote control in room didn't work so had to get replacement from reception

Great stay.
Pros:

Really great stay, lovely clean room. Great service. Lots of choice at breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Easy taxi into Winchester.

Really good place to stay.
Pros:

This was a great place to stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room great and the bed do comfortable we slept better than we have in long time. The food was lovely and breakfast very extensive. The location was ideal. The drive into Winchester was along a quiet road. We were into Winchester and parked in eight minutes. Loved our stay.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Underwhelming
Pros:

Very underwhelmed. Tiled skirting board in bathroom coated with shaved hair so cleanliness was a concern. Premium bedroom spacious but only has about 3 hangers in cramped cupboard and no drawers so you’ll need to live out of a suitcase. Nowhere to hang a wet coat. In the evening Young woman in restaurant grudgingly said ‘I can let you have that table’ when we asked for a table in a better lit area. Restaurant more than half empty so not sure why we seemed to be such a nuisance, later arrivals didn’t seem to have the same problem. Eventually she came back to take a drink order but then couldn’t be bothered to fill it although she did eventually wander off to the bar to do it and, no, she wasn’t busy. Eventually managed to flag someone else down to order food. Wine is obviously hotel prices but mediocre for the price. No information in room or on app about breakfast times and no one answered the phone when we tried that. Reception and breakfast staff very pleasant and professional.

Perfect
Pros:

We had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The spa was absolutely fantastic — so relaxing and beautifully done — it really set the tone for a perfect celebration.

A special thank you to Raaj at the bar, who was outstanding. He crafted an amazing cocktail for us, kept us laughing all evening, and truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel extra special. His energy and hospitality made the night unforgettable.

We can’t wait to come back!

Winchester Winner
Pros:

One-nighter with a colleague for business in the area. Lovely hotel with a very nice bar area. The rooms were good and comfortable and the restauarant was nice. All in all no negatives from staying here at all!!

Pleasant stay, but an enormous amount of improvement required if it's meant to be. 4* hotel.
Pros:

The room was comfortable, & the food in the restaurant was good.
The staff were generally friendly, although the Spa was having an event, so we couldn't use the pool. The staff there were both condescending & unhelpful.

Cons:

There were no heated towel rails in the bathroom, so you are drying yourself with stale damp towels.
There is also no toilet brush.
The wardrobe is far too small for two people sharing & there are no drawers available, although the room could accomodate some.
Dirty glasses were uncleared & the table remained unwiped, leaving it sticky.
The lobby, though tastefully decorated , is incredibly draughty due to sliding , rather than revolving doors.
The bar staff need better training, a well stocked bar, but on the first night nobody could make a vodka martini, lack of basic knowledge?

Fabulous in every way!
Pros:

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to assist us with all our requests. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

As often happens in hotels, the television was not simple to use and there is rarely enough lighting in the rooms.

I upgraded but felt the room was a little disappointing, shower didn't have a rose head and wasn't sure what the upgrade consisted of really from what i had previously booked

Friendly hotel with good sized rooms and comfy beds
Pros:

The room was a good size and nice and quiet. Beds very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for any requests we had. There was pently of public spaces for drinks and chatting and it had a nice ambience.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.
