Booking.bom referred to a lush garden - which we never discovered.
Historical hotel right on the wild and scenic eastern ocean. Our room had doors that opened onto the ocean which we could view and hear from our canopy bed. Restaurant with local food onsite. Our rental car broke down in the middle of the night and we had a flight we were leaving for. The night manager offered to drive us to the airport an hour away!!!! All the staff treat you like family.
Staff food and location all excellent
The sort of place I imagine Hemingway would have enjoyed. The location and views are exceptional. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good with decent size portions.
This historic inn is just that. The furnishings and rooms are comfortable and have a historic feel. Old photos of the inn and the area are fascinating. Don’t expect the accoutrements of a luxury resort hotel.
Lovely location on the east coast of Barbados.
Room size. Fabulous view. Good food. Pleasant accomodating service.
Could not access sea. Little bay could be made much better for swimming. Government pressure needed to improve coastal paths.
I have visited the Atlantis for lunch which was lovely. We stayed for one night and it was excellent. The sea facing rooms are fantastic, spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is within walking distance of other places to visit.
The shower area was a little tired but it was clean and worked well.

Loved the property
Meals were excellent, wait staff were professional, cheerful and always
anticipated our needs. ALL the staff were wonderful, they knew our names and greeted us each morning. A special shout out to Marissa, Ría, and Tanisha. The pool was fantastic, always fresh and clean.
I wish there had been more lounge furniture that overlooked the ocean, ie sofas, etc. There was a group of guests who dominated the existing sofas. We also wished there was a small taxi service on the east side of the island.
Great staff and service .. great views over Atlantic .. relatively good value for Barbados .. quiet .. away from busy tourist spots. Different. Extended our stay. Close to hills and gardens.
Atlantis is an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for a tranquil place to stay where the staff, food and accommodation are first class this hotel is for you. The sea is very rough so if swimming is your thing then you will need to use the rock pools. The beach walks are out of this world.
Liked everything. The Atlantis is an absolute gem in Bathsheba.
