We got the hotel specifically for the indoor pool during a visit to Bristol for a funeral. I have a 7 year old and she was very excited for this sad trip for the pool. especially after traveling 8 hours.

Cons:

No pool, no signs the pool was out of order, nothing during booking.

There was poor value for the cost of the room.

The personnel and the breakfast were both above expectations. The rooms and the cleanliness of the hallways were below expectations.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the hallways on the floors as well as the issues with the rooms were disappointing. We had to move from our initial room due to faucet leaks, a damaged ceiling, a dirty shower and a damaged refrigerator. On replacement room had a damaged a/c unit that although worked had physical damage and the couch was a scratching post for a previous guest's cat. Both were reported to the management who had no idea of either room's issues.

Beautiful hotel with amazing breakfast
Pros:

We stayed here Christmas Eve so we could make a Santa visit to our grandchildren’s house at midnight without having to make a long drive back to our house and then return Christmas afternoon. The hotel has been recently remodeled. We met several staff members during our stay, and all were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking. The lobby was nicely decorated and comfortable with a welcoming fireplace.

The breakfast area was huge with the most beautiful and varied food items I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. Two kinds of waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh and cut up fruits, a small assortment of breakfast breads, cereal, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and tortillas with all the fixing to use with the eggs, four kinds of juices in beautiful carafes, most amazingly: cups of delicious Chia pudding, and overnight oatmeal with a variety of nuts and non-nut toppings. The coffee was also excellent.

The footprint of the hotel is huge, so if you choose your room in advance, I’d recommend selecting one near the elevator closest to the lobby.

We got the least expensive type of room. It was compact but not crowded, and all areas are within sight of the bed. It had a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, sink, and a selection of dishes. There was a small table and chairs as well as a sofa and coffee table. There were two large windows and the king bed and linens and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is divided into two sections; a separate room with a door held the toilet and walk-in shower and the other part had a spacious sink/vanity with excellent lighting. The closet was also in that area. This vanity area is located at the foot of the bed and there is no door. My husband stays up later than I do, so I use a sleep mask.

We really enjoyed the hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Pros:

Very Disappointed. Shower door was broken and black bits of something(?) washed into shower floor when showering. Whatever that is at the base of commode is disgusting.
I would not fault maintenance or housekeeping, rather, this appears to be a lack of attention on the part of the owners.
Will not return.

Pros:

The staff and the location. The staff was friendly and listening and prompt with our requests.
Breakfast was quite complete and attentive staff.

Cons:

The facilities left much to desire.
1) Bed, mattress lumpy and very uncomfortable. There was no support.
2) Shower moldy along the door and edges. Glass door not clean.
Carpet in the room cleanliness we would not know as we did not walk barefoot in the room.
Kitchen was not used therefore we do not know about clean.

Could not get hot water out of the shower. The water in the sink and shower did not drain properly so you had to stand in 6 inches of water in the shower. The front elevator is still out of service.
