Find another better hotel in the area for the same
Pros:

The hotel looks new and smart in the photos, but was shabby and in need of upgrading.
The room i was given had an old tv ancient fridge and tacky kitchen. You had to pay about $6 to have access to the wifi. The buffet breakfast had few unappealing choices . The gushing reviews have to be misguided or just fraudulent
I really cannot understand why, the high rating on Tripadviser.

Pros:

Good family hotel in budget to stay, excellent Service staff ready to accomdate requests. Very near to Calangute beach and all amenities near the hotel available. Only signage on the road needs to be bigger.

Pros:

hotel was over priced. you can get better hotels at cheaper rates in Calangute & Baga area. Only good thing was that the drinks were reasonably priced. Nite entertainment was average. I would not recommend this hotel as it is not of the standard as shown on the website.

Above and beyond
Pros:

Arriving in Goa late at night, I arranged for hotel transport which met me even after a two hour flight delay. Dissatisfied with the assigned room I was given a nicer one the next morning. The rooms are huge with kitchenette and balcony, spacious bathroom with a large shower and plenty hot water. Common areas are numerous and clean. Wifi cards are available and inexpensive. The walk to the beach is 5-7 minutes direct and quite interesting but the hotel is tucked away down a grimy alleyway - still the grounds are pleasant.
What makes this place for me is the service. Checking in so late my passport was not returned and I inadvertently forgot it - ultimately my responsibility. The front desk couriered my passport via a night bus the next day. Kudos and I am very grateful.
