Breakfast was good. gym never went
Century Pines is a very nice hotel located in the center of Tanah Rata. For a hotel of this class we were surprised that Century Pines lacks a decent restaurant.
Close to town, walkable to restaurants. Mold in bathroom. Large spacious room. Would be nice if they had a mesh screen to open windows when sleeping to keep mosquitoes out.
Lovely Stay with Warm Service...
Just Needs a Few Upgrades🫡
We stayed at Century Pines Resort, Cameron Highlands from 15 to 17 June 2025 as a couple in their Deluxe Double Room. Overall, the experience was pleasant and comfortable.
The room was spacious and clean, including the toilet, which was well-maintained.
Staff were very welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and willing to help a special thanks to the security team and housekeeping for their friendly attitude when we requested extra bath gel and soap.
Breakfast was a highlight! We stayed two days, and both mornings the spread was impressive fresh, delicious, and truly worth the price.
Parking is easy to find, and the location is a big plus centrally located, making it easy to get to nearby attractions and shops.
Areas to Improve:
The TV is outdated an upgrade to a smart TV would enhance the stay.
Wi-Fi connection was quite poor and couldn’t be connected most of the time.
A minor room upgrade (like toilet and tv) would make a big difference.
Despite a few small issues, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future. With some slight improvements, this place could be a top choice in Cameron Highlands!🤍
I was disappointed with my stay here. My room didn't have a proper window and there was little natural light. Staff were efficient enough, but showed no warmth or interest towards their guests. The clock in the park across the road plays a tune every hour, which gets a little wearing.
On the plus side, breakfast is excellent! I especially enjoyed the French toast and the fresh fruit. The location is also very good, just five minutes from the bus station.
I stayed at Century Pines Resort Cameron Highlands for 2 days , and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Despite booking a king bed room, I was given a room with 2 single beds. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful , and when I requested a room change , I was told it wasn't possible.
The rooms were dirty , stained , kettle moldy and bedsheet got hair and dust everywhere. The bed linen was not changed , and the toilet bowl was dirty and stained. I had to request multiple times for new linen and cleaning , but the issues weren't fully resolved .
The manager Melvin , was nice and apologetic , but the promises he made weren't kept. When I asked to check out and get a refund, I was told it wasn't possible.
The housekeeping runner particularly the night shift staff in the green T-shirt, were helpful and nice. However, the front desk staff attitude and the hotel's condition made my stay unbearable.
Off the main road but walkable to the small shops and eateries which made it nice. Room clean, fan worked well to keep us cool at night, refill water station on the floor. Staff super nice and checkin, checkout easy.
Overall everything was good. The loud, repetitive and extremely annoying fireworks that went on for the entire evening and into the night kept me up.
La ubicación es buena. Desayuno suficiente.
Las sábanas tenían manchas, no estaban limpias y ya que llegue tarde me di cuenta hasta la mañana siguiente.
Lived our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was close to everything and we walked everywhere. A nice park across the street with a clock tower all lit up. Lots of dining options in the town and the food at the restaurant onsite was good too. Breakfast was plentiful. Small gripe…gym was small and no pool.
I wasn’t sure what to expect given previous reviews but room was large and clean, with a comfy bed. Bathroom was ‘tired’ but plenty of hot water and good shower.
The room safe was not working and when we queried that the hotel bought another one to the room
The hotel is well located for access to restaurants etc
Breakfast was adequate, omelettes and fried eggs made freshly - and restaurant very much like a canteen
Very spacious rooms and great breakfast buffet.
We loved the water dispenser, we saved quite a few plastic bottles.
The bathrooms could do with a bit of a renewal but overall great facilities and very convenient hotel to visit the Cameron Highlands.
Faux fancy.
Much like the other reviews here. First room we were shown to smelt mouldy - because there was mould, peeling and bubbling wallpaper, spotted a couple of cockroaches (dead and alive), and some other unidentifiable bugs.
We swapped rooms (first room was in block B, second in block A), and the second room was fine. Standard 3 star accommodation.
We were swapped rooms with no hassle but clearly it was a common occurrence.
Breakfast was a decent spread, but nothing particularly appetizing.
The rest of the hotel was okay, not particularly clean but reasonable. Location was decent - near the bus stop.
There's a deposit you have to pay on arrival which is odd, and then there's an itemised list of the rooms contents in the room, detailing how much one would pay if one were to steal anything.
I'd probably look elsewhere if staying again.
Room was clean.
evrything nice
Rooms had mold smell, had to check several rooms before they could get me one.
Rooms were dirty, amenities lacking, our room did not get hand and face towels but other friend’s room does have.
Strong Moldy smell when you open the room door.
Bedding were disgusting and stained.
What’s the point of having a tub but not allowing guests to soak? Water not hot anyways.
Breakfast mediocre, not worth the money. Paid so much yet did not deliver minimum value.
Not to mention the clock in the park rings an annoying rhyme every hour.
This is a lovely hotel situated in Tanah Rata close to loads of shops and restaurants. The rooms are large, well appointed with great bathrooms and large, very comfortable beds and pillows. The shower had great water pressure and the water was hot. The room also had a small balcony overlooking the park. The rooms and hotel were exceptionally clean and parking in free and readily available. Breakfast was also included in our room charge, it wasn't wonderful but it filled a spot! This is a great option to stay at in Cameron Highlands.
The room is spacious
I stayed here for 7 Days. The staff are reasonably friendly the food mainly breakfast as I read earlier before I stayed complaining about the amount displayed. I found this was not true, I would say more than adequate. No air-conditioning but weather in this area cool & no AC is required.
