Tv don’t work
Expensive and breakfast extra.
Lifts were
Location, cleanliness, good staff. Pool.
Nothing I didn’t like
Comfortable. The art theme added some interest
Windows were so disgustingly dirty impeding the nice view. A bag of rubbish was left in the hallway. Expensive car parking.
Dobrá lokace, výborné snídaně
Velmi malý pokoj, pokud máte vice zavazadel, nejsou kam dát.
The location and the rooms were wonderful
Excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable accomodation. I’ve always enjoyed staying at The Olsen and highly recommend for visitors on vacation or business.
Help from the desk clerk(s) as to how to move around the city.
Room quiet
Kitchen equipment rather sparse and some inappropriate eg. size of spoons for cutlery.
drinks etc for sale too expensive.
The gym
Everything
There was an issue at check in which was eventually resolved and I was delighted with my upgrade to balcony suite No 102. I was originally charged an extra $30 per night for my 2-night stay. Jess kindly refunded both nights due to my fridge not working and the issue at check in. Don’t lose her! She is a great asset to your team. Excellent attitude.
Breakfast included in the room rate was a bit poor
Great Pool, Great location
Poor maintenance - cupboard doors in bathroom in need of attention; ants in room; had to request room to be serviced; glass walled bathroom is a fail; no cups, just unpleasant mugs; no tea towel; restaurant expensive but below average
Tooth brush delivered to room super fast and late check out when requested so as to finish zoom meeting
Recent visitor during the Australian Open and have stayed here previously but not for a while. Accor Platinum member. Staff at Reception and in the Restaurant / Bar were perfunctory - breakfast not good value for the price, and friends found the service patchy. As others have noted the hotel is getting tired but the balcony rooms are spacious and well appointed, and South Yarra is a great neighbourhood for food and drink so it's a line ball call - if you get a good rate probably worth it but if not shop around.
