I will definitely be returning to The Olsen. Loved it!
Pros:

I stayed at The Olsen for the first 2 nights of my 6 weeks Oz vacation in January 2026 and was so impressed that I booked again for my final night earlier this week. The perfect way to start and end a vacation. I had stayed at The Cullen for the time on my vacation last year and was very happy with my suite and equally impressed by the level of service. A friend suggested I try The Olsen this time. All the staff were extremely friendly and the level of service was impressive. In particular, Jess, who went the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I had ungraded to a balcony suite on my first visit in January and requested the same suite for my final night. Jess was able to kindly oblige with my request so once again, I left The Olsen a happy traveller and will definitely be returning ... hopefully to Suite 102 with the swimming pool conveniently situated right opposite my suite! Thanks to everyone at The Olsen. I wish you all a happy and safe 2026. JCR

An icy pole, a lolly bar, friendly staff and a hotel that felt like home ❤️
Pros:

From the moment we walked in to check in we felt so very welcomed. The lovely lady behind the counter was absolutely amazing, even fielding calls from a guest who was shall I say unruly on the phone! To the lolly bar and icy poles on arrival to just the sense of being in a lovely hotel it was clearly evident how relaxing and enjoyable this stay was. The rooms were wonderful and well laid out (for a studio). I have never stayed at the Olsen but I will definitely be back.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was limited parking however straight across the road there was another carpark with plenty of room and weekend rates.
