Pros:

I loved the location of our room and the seaview from the balcony

Cons:

The staff where to few and did not manage to serve the amount of people staying at the hotel, especially at the pool bar. The room was to small and no space to open up our luggage

Great for a quiet relaxing stay away from the crowds
Pros:

The breakfast was a really good selection, you could have as much as you wanted, they varied it a bit each day so you had something new to try every morning.
The room was spacious with a good size balcony and lovely view.
Good Shower too.
Pool area nice and not crowded, could always get a sun lounger and stunning views.

Cons:

The drinks in the bar weren't very good, had a fairly good selection but the beers were not particularly good.
It felt catered overall for more so over 60s age group.
The entertainment was good one night but overall disappointing.
It was a new experience for me so that might just not be to my taste.
Shuttle bus service from the hotel to Altea was great but didn't run everyday and was needed as location was isolated.

But only there for 1 night.

Pool was nice

Cons:

The breakfast- quality of food wasn't very good, and was very busy. Not relaxed at all and not good quality coffee. We ended up having breakfast outside the hotel.
Not upscale in feel.

Pros:

Nice and clean room was nice

Cons:

Access to sea was not the best as it was big stones on a slope and vert tricky to gain access
Also I no it was down to me but we left our towels on a couple of chairs looking over the sea when we realised we went back but they had being taking away went to reception and basically got no joy but just told we would have to pay 40 euro
They must of being picked up by member of staff pool bar said they would of being handed into reception
But they was no real concern just 40 euro that’s it
Which took a bit of shine of our stay here which was a shame but it our fault for leaving them on the chairs rules are rules

Tolles Strandhotel- sehr zu empfehlen
Pros:

Das Hotel Cup Negre hat mich rundum überzeugt. Die tolle Lage in Strandnähe, die moderne und sehr gepflegte Ausstattung sowie das freundliche, zuvorkommende Personal machen den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Die Ruhebereiche, die überwiegend im angenehmen Schatten liegen, laden perfekt zum Entspannen ein.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das sehr gute Frühstück, das sowohl qualitativ als auch von der Auswahl her überzeugt.

Cons:

Der Strandbereich ist überwiegend steinig, daher sind Badeschuhe unbedingt zu empfehlen. Das nimmt nichts von der schönen Lage, hilft aber anderen Gästen bei der Planung.

Gut mit einigen Mängeln, die sich aber beseitigen lassen.
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Meer, Altea selbst zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten uns eines der teureren Zimmer mit Meerblick gegönnt, hat sich gelohnt, denn z.T. gibt es Zimmer direkt neben dem Parkplatz.

Cons:

Der Trubel beim Frühstück, der Saal, wie eine Kantine, laut und keineswegs stressfrei. Hier könnte man mit ein paar baulichen und innenarchitektonischem Maßnahmen einiges erreichen. Es wird penibel darauf geachtet immer den Nachweis seiner Zimmernummer führen zu können, wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass die Unsitte Liegen mit Handtüchern zu reservieren verboten wird oder diese vom Personal gnadenlos eingesammelt werden. Leider muss man wahrscheinlich zu solch drastischen Maßnahmen greifen.
