Wobbly First Impressions
Pros:

The room was amazing and felt very luxurious. Plenty of creature comforts and exceptional mini bar. The room was styled amazingly. Perfect example of why you would rent an appartment for the night as opposed to just going back home.

Cons:

Upon arrival our room wasn't ready which wasn't the end of the world as we were slightly early. Staff directed us to the roof top bar to relax and kill some time while we waited and advised they would contact us when our room was ready.

However we reached the roof top bar only to find out it was closed. We ended up going else where for drinks. After a while we were begining to get anxious as we had an event to attend and were running out of time to get ready. We returned to find our room was ready but staff had forgotten to contact us.

Regardless we finally made it to our room and proceeded to start getting ready only to find out when we wanted to have showers that we had no towels in our room. Not the most seemless first impressions for our first stay, but staff did indicate upon questioning on checkout that they were severely short staffed.

We have stayed at 100's of hotels and understand these things can happen but these are the little things that make people reconsider when booking again.

Luxurious haven
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were superb, lots of small touches that made it a unique stay- quirky artwork, well stocked mini bar with great variety, bathroom spacious, decor beautiful

Great bed! Great location.

Cons:

Bar fridge broken. Air con was so noisy I had to turn it off and the room very quickly turned into a sauna. If they spent less money on kitsch artwork on every wall and surface, they could upgrade the very old and awful shower heads. Bathroom products were disgusting.

The perfect hotel for a short stay in a cool area of Brisbane
Pros:

Staff very helpful.
Room size incredible. Bed so comfortable.
Location is perfect; a short walk to James St.
parking was also easy, no hassle.

Cons:

The pool bar wasn’t open on a Tuesday but such a non issue really
