Clearbrook Motels Wanaka

Perfect location. Simple walk to downtown. Rooms are very spacious and quiet. Easy check-in. Fantastic shower! Nice to sit on the back porch and listen to the creek as you enjoy a book.

Beautiful location next to a babbling brook and close to so many good restaurants in town. Our upstairs apartment was complete with everything you need, washer, dryer , little kitchen, and balcony. Very clean and modern. Beautiful accommodation!

We really liked the 2nd floor apartment with loft. Clean and up to date, tons of space, washer and dryer, full kitchen. Nice view of the mountain outside the window. Great walkable location to restaurants and the lake. Zero complaints and highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights, it had everything we required plus more. Beautifully clean apartment with all the amenities, walking distance to the main area of Wanaka, parking right outside the door and to top it all off a beautiful Brook right outside your veradah with great views of the mountains. I am glad we stayed here.

Everything at Clearbrook is top rate.The management have a well run complex and its location to everything would be the best in Wanaka.The room we had was spotless (well done to the cleaning staff).Excellent Wi Fi and great having all the sky channels plus Netflix.Full kitchen and also a laundry in the unit.Supermarket a few minutes walk away and just around the corner lots of great food trucks.Lake and restaurants easy 5 minutes walk away.Great views on mountains from 1st floor room and the lovely brook that runs through the property.Communication from First booking enquirer to checking in was excellent (make sure you book direct)We rate the Clearbrook a 10/10.Thanks Team Clearbrook for a great stay

This was one of our most favorite hotels while staying in the South Island. The hotel is two-three blocks walking distance from the main town center waterfront where all the restaurants are, so the location is perfect. It is super quiet at night with rooms rather expansive in size. Rooms have in-room laundry - a huge win for those traveling with families. The crib/portacot rental, while an annoyance of a fee, is quite sturdy and reliable.

Parking available on site with one designated/numbered spot per room.

WiWithin walking distance of restaurants, and a supermarket. The views of the Alps are incredible. The staff is so friendly and helpful, but having a full washer and full dryer (not a combination unit) was perfect! Reasonably priced and very clean! Wanaka is a lovely town, and this is a lovely accommodation.

We only stayed one night so we could go fly fishing. The upside - it was a large room. Nice kitchenette. Pretty Mountain View’s from room. Clean. Affordable. Quiet. Good hot shower with good pressure. Downsides - the king mattress very firm sort of uncomfortable and the pillows were not very full. Flat and lumpy! Bathroom looks like a hospital bathroom. 😩

Comfortable, convenient and had all required amenities. Would have rated 10/10 if bathroom had shower cubicle and soap/shampoo holder. Also, staircase exposed to weather can be a safety hazard when it’s wet and windy.

The motel was right at the back of town and 5-minute walk to the lake, restaurants, shopping, and grocery store. The Studio apartment was very spacious and very comfortable.
There was a full kitchen with a stove, refrigerator/freezer and all the supplies you would need along with a washer and dryer right in the apartment.
We were on the bottom floor and had a sliding door out to a really nice green space with BBQ tables, chairs if you wanted to hang out on a nice day. There is also a stream that runs through the green space. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Highly recommend.

We were disappointed to only have stayed one night. Comfy bed and pillows. Accessible shower with great water pressure. Great kitchen and laundry facilities in room. Really spacious space. Beautiful little brook running through the property. Construction going on next door, but we didn’t hear it in the morning.

Very comfortable room with balcony looking to the town and the mountains beyond.
Staff very helpful and supportive.
Centre of town only minutes away on foot.
We spent an excellent 4 nights here.

This motel was the pick of our three locations whilst we visited the area over a 10 day period. The rooms were very well maintained clean neat had all the facilities needed especially for a small family and was within walking distance to the local Main Street of Wānaka. We would definitely stay here again if we visit this beautiful place which was probably the highlight of our trip.

I have nothing but good things to say. Cleanliness, condition, service, location (essentially right in town, less than three blocks to the lake), parking and overall comfort. I stayed with my 14 year old son for five nights in one of the units with a loft. We loved it! Also, the kitchen was well stocked, there’s a dishwasher, and there’s in-room washer and dryer.

I was not sure what to expect, but we were happy with our choice. When we arrived we upgraded to a one bedroom from a junior. The extra space was nice. A big plus - washer and dryer and soap provided. The location is also perfect for roaming rhe town on foot.

Great little motel for a night or two in Wanaka. Enjoyed the balcony and the washer with a separate dryer (i.e. not a combo style) was very much appreciated. Can easily walk to anything in town.
