Great location friendly staff
Pros:

The hotel was a convenient location, rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast could use some improvement in selection. Forest at the front desk is very kind and helpful

Friendly staff and great location
Pros:

The Hyatt Place was perfect for our visit. The staff at the front desk was friendly and very helpful.

The location was ideal, since we were visiting Madison for a biking vacation. We were able to park the car and bike directly from the hotel. There is safe and easy access to the Capital City Trail and the Southwest Commuter Path from the hotel. It is also an easy walk to restaurants near the capital building and along State Street.

The rooms were clean and large enough to store our bikes. There were a lot of kids and some dogs on our floor, but noise was never an issue. The kids seemed to like the pool on the first floor.

We are already planning to return next year.

Meeting expectations is a good thing
Pros:

Very nice budget-friendly hotel in Downtown just blocks from both the Capitol building and the UW campus. Hotel is clean and the room was very comfortable. The 2-Queen room was plenty spacious, which left two taller individuals were very comfortable with room to stretch out. Breakfast was good. Nothing stood out so it was right where it should be for the price.

Loving hanging out in Madison
Pros:

This is a lovely place that is well situated within walking distance of the State Capitol, a multitude of good to great restaurants, museums, music and comedy venues and for a longer walk that's easy, UW of Madison campus (which is lovely and sometimes has free live music).

Lovely stay in heart of Madison.
Pros:

Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Clean rooms and public spaces, and convenient onsite paid parking. Great location within easy walking distance of UofW, the capital building, and loads of restaurants.
