Basic, standard, somewhere you can use to rest your head. Hole in the window frame, put together with toilet roll. The
Pros:

Easy to access b&b. It you need somewhere to rest your head then this place is perfect.

Cons:

Well… it’s works, it does a basic job. Probably not worth the money you pay but pay £35/45 then that feels more realistic to the experience you get. Do not expect a romantic weekend away.

Straightforward coms, decent space and a comfortable bed. Good to have free parking in a town.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine though having a cereal option or two would be helpful.

Wouldn't stay again unless the property was improved.
Pros:

Location was good, as we we're visiting friends. Bedding and towels were clean and tea, coffee, etc had been left in the room. The room was a good size and the water was hot in the bathroom.

Cons:

The room was dark because some of the lights didn't work. We couldn't close one of the windows because it was missing the handle. The room was cold because the heating didn't work. The mattress on the bed needs replacing. General maintenance on the building is needed e.g. replace broken window, repair window frame at the entrance, exterior and grounds need attention.

Don't stay here
Pros:

Im sorry to say there is nothing positive to say about this accommodation.

Cons:

No staff what so ever. Uncomfortable bed, awful decore. Shower with no shower head. One plug in room. Desperately in need of modernisation. I know it was cheap but there should.atill be some standards.

Very basic facilities, but OK for a single night
Pros:

Room was clean and well equipped, eg. tea and coffee making facilities, a deep bath, and a TV that worked reliably. Ample parking and plenty of local information. Help available via phone.

Cons:

No staff on site. Bed on its last legs. Tired decor. Noisy room near main road. No breakfast.

Did the job for us. Clean and comfortable room. Good value.
Pros:

Clean comfortable room. Tea and coffee. Good location to meet needs. Good parking.

Cons:

Lodge building very tired. Boarded up window. No onsite staff. Remote check in. Wouldn’t want to be only one staying in Lodge, especially as a female.

Hooligan for 14 days!!
Pros:

It's 15 miles from the lakes. On a Yamaha there are many small and medium roads such as the kirkstone pass and many lakes and Mountains to see. I met up with 2x friends up there. I only rested 1 day.

Cons:

It was too hot!! I can't grumble it will be cold and grey soon enough. In all my bike gear it's hard to cool down.
