Great Location, friendly staff and lovely outdoor area.
Pros:

All the staff at the hotel were helpful, kind and efficient. I was greeted warmly and looked after my the bar staff for both my evening meal and breakfast. The hotel has a lovely bright airy conservatory which made my breakfast very pleasant looking out over the grounds. The breakfast table did n't have a lot of pastries or fruit left when I arrived at 9am but I did manage to get everything I needed (although I did feel bad taking the last slice of bread and yogurt but I was hoping they would come and refill) the fruit juice and coffee were both very fresh and all staff excellent.

Cons:

The room had some areas which were in need of a refresh but nothing I would describe as dirty, the bathroom just needed a paint and like any old bath the enamel was chipped along with the sink that had some cracks in (or perhaps that was the rustic look they were after !) there was some lovely touches of fresh water in the room with some baked nibbles and a useful iron and ironing board,

Pros:

Location was good and the room was very nice.

Cons:

Breakfast was a catastrophe! The service lacked organisation leading to us waiting an hour before anybody realised our order had been lost. The hotel was expensive for one night and we expected a much better service than this. All we received was an apology and upon check out we were not asked how our stay had been.

Consistent Quality
Pros:

This property is in a prime location on the City side of Norwich’s “Golden Trisngle”.

I have visited The Georgian Townhouse on numerous occasions over the years to stay, have a meal or just drinks with friends and have always been impressed with the quality of the property and the warm, friendly and professional attitude of the people who work there.

Today I was served by Maisie who was all of the above and great conversation.

This consistent quality is the reason that myself and my family have regularly returned and will continue to do so.

Lovely Sunday Roast
Pros:

This was our first visit to the Georgian Townhouse and we were not disappointed. Our waiter Mark was very attentive and friendly and there was lovely vibe in the outdoor/conservatory area.
The roast dinner was delicious (great Yorkshires) and the desserts were good value.
The whole restaurant and outside dining area was spacious and we were particularly impressed with the secure play area - we will be returning with our grandchildren very soon!!
