Bed & Breakfast Hotel Malts in Haarlem, NL, and its owner/operators, are gems.
Pros:

Hank and Annemarie, our hosts and owners of the hotel, were exceptional, like new members of our family! Not only are they a superb team who work well together, they took time from their busy schedule to chat with us and not only provide information about things to do and places to see, but also to discover what our interests were. We weren't the only guests - without blinking, Hank and Annemarie easily switched from one language to another as they dealt with, and helped all of us.

Cons:

That our association with Hank and Annemarie couldn't have been longer.

Ik kom zeker terug, prima B&B met een centrale ligging.
Pros:

De centrale ligging, persoonlijke ontvangst, mooie kamer, goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Stijle trap omhoog om de receptie te bereiken. Gelukkig voor ons geen probleem, maar je moet wel goed ter been zijn, zeker omdat je voor de kamers op de 2e verdieping weer een trap op moet.

Henk en Annemarie hebben ons van harte welkom geheten en Haarlem goed gepromoot.
Het B&B was schoon en we hadden een heerlijk ontbijt.

Cons:

Doordat het een ouder gebouw is was het aardig warm zonder airco.

We had such a great time at The Malts Hotel in Haarlem. A top quality hotel and super hosts.
Pros:

We had such a great stay at The Malts Hotel in Haarlem. From the moment we walked in, the welcome was genuinely warm, Henk and Annemarie (the hosts) are super friendly and made us feel at home straight away. They’re the kind of people who clearly enjoy what they do, and it shows.
The room was spotless. Everything felt fresh, clean, and well looked after, with comfy beds. It’s one of those places where you can tell they take pride in keeping things perfect for guests.
The location was great for visiting Haarlem. Although it was in the city centre we slept very well at night.
Overall, a brilliant stay, amazing hosts, a lovely welcome, super breakfast and a comfortable room. I’d happily book again next time I’m in Haarlem.

Cons:

Nothing to not like really apart from the steep stairs which some visitors may find a challenge. Our hosts always offerred to help with our cases so thank you.

Great hosts and location.
Pros:

Excellent location. Close to transportation links, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and the host accommodated my friends with gluten free items.

Un soggiorno davvero piacevole a Haarlem
Pros:

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno molto piacevole in questo B&B a Haarlem. La struttura è accogliente, curata e pulita, con un’atmosfera tranquilla che fa sentire subito a casa.

La posizione è ottima per visitare Haarlem e raggiungere comodamente il centro a piedi. Abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari, sempre attenti alle nostre esigenze.

La camera era confortevole e ben organizzata, e la colazione è stata un ottimo modo per iniziare la giornata.

Haarlem è una città davvero affascinante e questo B&B è stato un'ottima scelta per il nostro soggiorno. Lo consigliamo sicuramente e ci tornerei volentieri!

Cons:

Forse migliorerei le finiture delle camere: in alcuni punti la pittura era da sistemare. Aggiungerei anche un topper al letto e un cuscino più morbido, anche se mi rendo conto che quest’ultimo è probabilmente una esigenza personale.

Hervorzuhebend ist auch das ausgezeichnete Frühstück.

Velotour durch Holland, Übernachtet in einem wunderbaren Hotel in einer traumhaft schönen Kleinstadt

Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und schon fast familiär eingebunden. Sehr schöne Einrichtung, Velos konnte man gratis in der Nähe in überwachter Velostation unterbringen

Pros:

Henk & Annemarie couldn't have done more for us. They provided a full gluten-free breakfast for me and were incredibly welcoming right from the start, with great communication from the moment we booked.

Cons:

It was very hot in Haarlem during our stay. While the provided fan was great, air conditioning in the room would have been a welcome bonus.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in perfekter Lage

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll von den Inhabern geführten Hotel. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft in diesem Haus steckt. Die Inhaber waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatten viele tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Ausflüge in und um Haarlem.

Die Lage ist perfekt, um Haarlem zu Fuß zu erkunden. Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten im RAAKS sind sehr praktisch und machen die Anreise mit dem Auto unkompliziert.

Unser Zimmer war absolut sauber und gemütlich, und die bequemen Betten haben für erholsame Nächte gesorgt. Besonders begeistert waren wir auch vom perfekten Frühstück – eine tolle Auswahl und ein wunderbarer Start in den Tag.

Wer auch gerne einen Abstecher ans Meer machen möchte, ist hier ebenfalls bestens aufgehoben: Zandvoort ist mit dem Zug völlig unkompliziert und schnell zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es rund um Haarlem wunderschöne Fahrradwege, sodass sich die Umgebung auch hervorragend mit dem Fahrrad erkunden lässt.

Für uns war das Hotel die perfekte Wahl für eine Städtereise. Eine tolle Kombination aus zentraler Lage, herzlicher Gastfreundschaft, Sauberkeit und persönlicher Atmosphäre.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! 🌷🚲☀️

Super nette Gastgeber! Man bekam zur Begrüßung etwas zu trinken und reichlich Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten. Top Lage ,mitten in der City, trotzdem ruhig.
Jederzeit Kaffee/Tee und Obst gratis.

Cons:

Ist halt im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug. Aber da können die Gastgeber ja nichts für 🤷🏻‍♀️
