Great budget stay
Pros:

Surprisingly good, a little worried after reading some reviews but all good. Lots of hot water, it was clean and fortunately we did not have to haul bags up the stairs as there is no lift. Great location, right across from Haymarket Station and less than block to airport tram. Lots of places to eat in area. 20 minute walk to the castle. The price was right .

Proximity to transport and was not noisy despite the transport. Bed was comfy, towels were lovely and soft. Food outlets very close.

Expensive for what it is

Very close to Haymarket train and tram stations

Cons:

This hotel is part of the old Scots Guards Club and needs a complete refurbishment. You have to ring a buzzer for access and they only accept cash. For the same price you can get a room in the newer hotel chains just as close to Haymarket

Hauptsache: warm und trocken für die Nacht!

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, Bus und Tram sind schnell erreichbar, Bäckereien, Pubs und Restaurants überall zu finden.
Ruhe trotz der Lage im Zentrum.
Schnelle Hilfe bei technischen Problemen mit dem Fenster. Gepäck durften wir schon vormittags zur Aufbewahrung geben.! Großen Dank dafür!

Cons:

äußerst spartanische Einrichtung in dem tatsächlich auch winzigen Zimmer. Ein Stuhl o. Hocker wäre aber vielleicht möglich.
