A lovely short stay in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice. Plenty of options.
The food in the Lodge area was nice but very expensive for what you got.
The open area & picnic tables over looking the river is lovely & the young staff in that area were really friendly & nice and the young girls choice of music on the playlist was great!

Cons:

The cost of the food. Other than that, it was great.
Our room was clean but very basic looking straight out at a parked car. Make sure to ask for a river view would be my recommendation.

Not Suitable for those with limited mobility
Pros:

Good disabled access room.

Cons:

This is not a hotel but rooms of the Wooden bridge hotel separated by 2 car parks & a road up a steep hill. Room keys had to be collected from the main hotel. Not good for those needing disabled accommodation. Similar for breakfast when we had to drive to the hotel as there are NO hotel facilities in The Lodge..

Great food & lodging
Pros:

My daughter and I loved everything. We walked up and had dinner, it was amazing. Our server, Rory, was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our conversation. We also had breakfast before we left and the lady who was working/clearing the buffet was also very nice and friendly. The room was great, everyone was nice, we very much enjoyed ourselves.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to say!

Doubt will be back
Pros:

Nice location. Been there many times for dinner

Cons:

The staff at reception couldn’t have been less helpful if she tried. Clearly not the job for her. Then we go to dinner and she “forgot” the reservation.

Lovely clean, spacious and pleasant surroundings.. So quiet and relaxing, only the sound of the river running behind the Lodge, just what we needed for a quiet weekend...Nothing, everything was ideal ..

A lovely and lively accommodation in a beautiful setting
Pros:

Location of The Lodge at Woodenbridge is handy to many interesting places in the vicinity. The food and hospitality at the adjacent hotel is wonderful.

Cons:

It was hard to get the temperature right for the room- quite warm. The pillows were a on the thin side.
