Quite decent stay in Garibaldi
Pros:

Very lovely reception with a nice lady who baked cookies for guests. The hotel is very centrally located - it would be hard not to be in the widening-of-the-highway that is Garibaldi. The room itself and the bathroom were clean and everything worked. The room was quiet and the two beds comfortable enough. Kids really loved the shallow indoor pool and hot tub. It's far from luxury but quite a nice hotel in a very small town.

Cons:

Smaller room than expected; the bathroom is a little too small. One elevator and no stairs near reception. The breakfast was okay but could use an upgrade. The best thing there was waffles that you make, but not much else so a greater variety would be in order. The coffee was barely drinkable.

Not a bad hotel, but disappointing for the price.
Pros:

The facility was nice. We were in town to go on the coast train, and you could not ask for a better location for that purpose. The breakfast was not amazing, but was solid. For comparison: the breakfast was slightly worse than most Best Westerns.

Cons:

The water temp in the shower was wild. It would not stay consistent for even 5 minutes, jumping from freezing cold to burning hot and back without adjusting the handle. The table in the room had frosting smashed on it when we came in, making me wonder how thoroughly they actually clean. They advertise a free hour late checkout upon request, even making a point of mentioning it when I checked in. When I actually did request it, the lady at the front desk was hesitant as to whether they could give it to me and tried to make me feel bad about potentially holding up the cleaning staff.

Very clean, good price, easily accessible to things to do in Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi and Tillamook. Definitely will stay there again.

Pros:

The breakfast was decent, the pool and hot tub is shallow but decent.

Cons:

the room smelled of old smoke kinda dingy, rooms are small, there are no nice views and air conditioning in the 1st room wasn’t working.

Affordable, comfortable place to stay. Good location on the coast right near the Scenic Train.
Pros:

Good location in downtown Garibaldi. Breakfast was decent if you love waffles and carbs but protein choices were limited. They did offer reheat-able scrambled eggs, which were surprisingly good. Pool was nice for kids. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

Cons:

Hot tub and sauna were closed the entire time we were there which was a bummer. Also lacked proteins at breakfast (eg bacon, sausage, etc).

Pros:

The hotel was clean, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The view was beautiful. The area felt safe. Very idealic fishing town.
The breakfast was fabulous. There were so many choices. The staff was amazing and very friendly.
Will stay here again if we come this way again.

Cons:

The sauna and hot tub were closed for maintenance and the pool was a little cold.
