Lovely hotel, delightful staff, great location - would definitely recommend
Pros:

Lovely warm welcome at reception – the room was beautiful with very effective air-conditioning; very welcome on a hot day! We had an excellent night’s sleep. Bathroom was spotless. We paid for the breakfast the next day in the Olive tree café which was very good.

insanely overpriced
Pros:

Staff were polite. The pillows and beds were comfortable.

Cons:

I simply can't get away from the price. Assume they use "surge pricing" model. They should have put a cap on that, because when I'm paying £250 I expect at least breakfast, and some soundproofing between rooms. Early this morning I could hear peop;le dragging their suitcases down the corridor, could hear the actual words of a conversation in the room next door, and when they plugged an appliance into the socket I thought for a moment there was someone in our room.
It's a bleak room without any pictures, white paint and a little plastic tray of instant coffee - ok I don't actually mind that but everything comes back to the price.
When we checked in I asked if there was any breakfast. He said no there's no breakfast. We accordingly planned to leave on the earlier train, but I would have changed plans if i'd known the very nice looking cafe which was right next door, was open and serving breakfast - obviously what he meant was that's not included in the price, but it was annoying.

Overall, at maybe £100 I would have said that was a good standard of cleanliness, comfortable enough and acceptable and this would be getting an 8.5 from me. As it is, I will endeavour never to stay there again.

Would find another hotel with an elevator.
Pros:

Breakfast was a little strange, since we had to go next door to an adjacent cafe. Food was good and service was quick.
Location across from the train station and bus terminal was great, and there were many restaurants to choose from.

Cons:

No elevator. Though advertised in the listing that they would carry bags up the stairs, they seemed reluctant to do so.
