The Royal Oxford is perfectly situated for the train station and access to the city. There is a lovely independant cafe attached the building in addition to a small Sainsbury's which I assume where part of the hotel in a previous life. Our double room was a little small, dark and overly warm but there are independant aircon units to make it comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was light, clean and airy. The staff were very accomodating and they offer baggage drop storage either end of your stay, your luggage is taken to your room once ready which is a nice touch.
The building temperature could have been lower but I'm not a regular hotel visitor so I can't compare
Great location. Comfy bed and pillows. Clean bathroom facilities and a good shower. Perfect for my overnight visit.
It was very clean and close to the main station
Only a small thing. The pillows were extremely flat
No elevator
Excellent location. Easy walk to all the shops and colleges. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely place.
Pressure on the shower was quite low.
Excellent location
Clean and comfortable
For the price of rooms quality of coffee and tea should be better.
Also, you should include continental breakfast at least.
No included breakfast, a continental and good morning coffee will encourage me to stay again.

It was very clean and comfortable. As I am a small person I could only see up to my eyes in the bathroom mirror instead of whole face. I am 5ft. Had to stand on tip toes to pull bathroom blind up and down.. .which we did find funny. There were scatter cushions on the bed which looked clean but felt they prob wouldn't be changed everytime. Everything we needed. The staff were sooo helpful and polite. Very approachable and smiley people. Thank you foe a lovely stay. Will come again.
As above ..re...cushions and mirror and nlind been a little too high
Very close to the train station and the centre, perfect base for exploring, with everything at hand and a lovely, short stroll away
No lift for my mum who is a bit immobile!
