Pros:

Great location with a short walk to the city centre. Very close to bus and train station. Staff on reception were friendly. Quickly changed one of the rooms to a twin when requested. Family room was large and bright ( 3 windows) with double, single and sofa bed. Beds were comfortable. Reasonably quiet despite being close to ongoing works nearby. Shop, cafes etc. Nearby.

Cons:

The shower in the family room was over a bath, so it was not the most accessible. Poor power from it also.
Rooms all have actual keys (with large keyrings)that had to be handed in whenever you left the hotel
It would have been nice to receive a hotel guest discount to restaurant on the ground floor.
No sockets by the bed to charge phone.

Nice and friendly hotel in excellent location
Pros:

I have stayed here several times. The location is so convenient if you arrive by train or bus, and it’s a short walk up to town. There is also a Sainsbury’s next door, so I usually pop out there in the morning to get something for breakfast to eat in my room. Otherwise, there is also a café next door (with an entrance directly from the hotel!).

Cons:

This time, I found the light in the room a bit insufficient, I am afraid. Don't remember that being problem in any of the other rooms. I must admit that I am not very keen on their biscuits, but that’s probably just as well for my figure!
