Pros:

Het prachtige gebouw die geschiedenis ademt in het centrum van de stad. Het ontbijt is lekker en zeker voldoende.

Cons:

Niets behalve het gebrek aan een airco voor warme dagen. Gelukkig was er wel een ventilator maar is niet echt voldoende.

We'll be back!
Pros:

The location is superb. The building is enchanting. Our room had loads of character as well as being comfortable. The breakfast was most enjoyable.

Cons:

It was unfortunate that we were there in a heat wave, when air conditioning would have been extremely welcome. The fan in the room did help, but with the climate changing something more effective might be worth thinking about.

Goed hotel, als je niet veel behoefte hebt aan dienstverlening.
Pros:

Prachtige locatie, midden in het centrum van de stad. Nette kamers.

Cons:

De ontvangst was onpersoonlijk doordat je met een code naar binnen moest. Pas de volgende ochtend hebben we iemand van het personeel gezien. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd, waardoor de keuze beperkt was. Het was lekker, maar we hebben liever een klein buffet waar je zelf kunt kiezen.

A beautiful historic building with pros and cons
Pros:

The historic building is beautiful and tastefully decorated. We had an upper floor room with nice high beamed ceilings. The breakfast is very nice. It's a perfect location to visit Diest.

Cons:

I have decided that I prefer a hotel that has on site reception. No matter how responsive the staff are to communications, there is always a delay. Just a reminder that this hotel does not have air conditioning if you're visiting in the summer. I prefer a hotel where they don't replace your towels every day or give you a way to say whether you want them replaced or not. Or if you want your room cleaned or not. The mattress had springs sticking up.

Zamówiłem noc w hotelu przez Booking po przyjeździe na miejsce okazało się że nie ma wolnych pokoj i Pan z recepcji wyjątkowo nie miły miał do mnie ogromne pretensje jak mu pokazałem że mam zapłacony za brukowany pokój zrobił niby anulację tego zamówienia jednak pieniędzy na koncie jeszcze nie mam nie ukrywam że potrzebuje tych pieniędzy i proszę o w miarę możliwości szybki zwrot tych pieniędzy

De kamer was ruime, net zoals de badkamer, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ook de locatie was prima dicht bij het centrum

Diest is mooi maar wij boeken nooit meer in dit hotel.

Cons:

Wij hadden een rustige kamer verwacht maar dat viel enorm tegen. De houten plankenvloer die weliswaar mooi bij het gebouw hoort maakt enorm lawaai. Weinig of geen isolatie tussen de kamers en de afvoer van de toiletten maakt lawaai. Er waren andere gasten gelogeerd op het verdiep boven ons en het geluid van de voetstappen om OH30 's nachts hebben ons bijna een uur wakker gehouden door het gebrek aan isolatie tussen de verdiepen. Het bed is dringend aan vervanging toe. Het kan niet dat voor de prijs die wij betaalden een veer DOOR het matras steekt !!! Controleer dit in kamer 6. Wij hadden een douche verwacht maar er stond enkel een bad hetgeen weinig ecologisch is. Parkeergelegenheid voorzien staat in het aanbod. Parkeren is op de openbare weg mits betaling. Kortom voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
