Das Essen und der Service waren herausragend. Ein ganz tolles Team von der Küche bis zum Service.
Die Lage unseres Lake House Masterroom - kilometerweit weg vom Haupthaus.
Das Zimmer abgenutzt und nicht sauber - vor allem die komplett verschmutzten Fenster, welche auch nicht in der
Lounge oder im Frühstücksraum geputzt waren.

A lovely comfortable Hotel. Friendly staff that went above and beyond. Amazing setting just far enough away in its own grounds. Beautiful rooms with everything you need, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice a good choice on the menu. Spice had amazing tasty food and the staff in there were great. The Afternoon Tea in The Lake House set a little drive away, had a lovely variety of food and delicious, The setting was breathtaking very relaxing.

Very clean room, great parking and help with luggage. Lovely products in the bathroom and really comfortable bed, bedding and great facilities.
If I’m being really fussy, the bar toilet/ cloakroom could do with a refurb, felt much less high end.

We were upgraded without asking, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had amazing views and the bed was super comfy. We ate in Gilpin Spice and the food and service was excellent.
Stayed in the Spa Suite. Excellent facility. Very comfortable room with in house spa.
SPICE restaurant was really good!
The pond was not full/filled up so the black plastic tarp was showing all around the edges.
SOURCE restaurant was way below expectations. Food took way too long and we ended up skipping a course. The food at SPICE was way better.
The staff were excellent! Couldn’t do more for us, very approachable and always someone around. The room and grounds were beautiful, hot tubs, rowing boat and swimming pool all bookable to yourselfs and very easy which meant it felt like the whole house was to ourselves most of the time.
It was very warm so the room was very warm, no AC which was disappointing for the price of the room, also the bathroom was dated and the shower lacked pressure. This wouldn’t stop me from staying again but I think for the price it was expected.
No children. And very peaceful.
No proper air conditioning. Room was too hot on a night and the little machine was too noisy to put on during the night if you wanted to get any sleep.
