Pros:

The 3 pools were amazing, staff wonderful and kind, couldn’t do enough!

Cons:

Only negative which is small, we stayed Deluxe room, bathroom was small and inside room could be updated. But not a deal breaker, fantastic stay!

No beach access - if you want a beach don’t book here

Clean, lovely staff, high quality food available for order at the restaurant

Cons:

We booked this hotel for the beach access, as a private beach with umbrella was specified in the hotel description. We arrived to be very disappointed that there is no access to the hotel’s beach due to industrial work. Meaning we only had access to the public beach, which was incredibly filthy (plastic, rubbish, clothing) and it was filled with local men who made 2 young female travellers often feel very uncomfortable.

We raised this with hotel management who couldn’t have handled the situation better - they were very apologetic, gave us a free massage and agreed to cancel our stay free of charge. Unfortunately booking.com didn’t let us cancel as it was a non-refundable booking, but that was out of the hotels control.

We have raised that the blocked beach access was not communicated to travellers beforehand, had we know we wouldn’t have booked the hotel.

Other than the beach, it’s a lovely hotel, I’d recommend

Everything you need and more!
Pros:

Love the little location and facilities here. Multiple pools including swim up bar, and beach front dining. Extra discounts for local attractions made a big difference to our family, and spa treatments I had were amazing! In the room, loved the large fridge too!

Pleasant but not amazing!!
Pros:

Lovely gardens and numerous outdoor areas- some around pools and others in garden areas…….
Staff were all lovely- very friendly, polite and helpful.
Location was good …. next to Waterbom Park, Discovery Shopping centre and lots of restaurant/pub options for food

Cons:

Rooms very tired……. especially the bathrooms which are quite small.
Surprised not to be offered a body lotion amongst complimentary toiletries…….
