Upon check in, we noticed the room had a bad smell to it, and found that the smell was coming from the drainage. Once we notified the staff they changed us to another room and we enjoyed our stay overall. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The sink in the toilet was huge which was a huge plus. The kitchenette was complete with induction stove, microwave, toaster, plates, fridge, cutlery and cooking utensils. They also had drinking water from the tap. Swimming pool area was clean and comfortanle for our family use, only wish it had some deck chairs. Location is central enough close to malls and food is easily accessible within a 5 minute drive
The lobby entrance is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Housekeeping was on break during lunch hence our early check in request could not really be accommodated although we managed to check in slightly early around 2.30 pm
Location n the facilities were great
pleasure
Its location. Food locations very close by. Central to everything.
Musty smell. Dated and old furniture. Stained sofa.
Great location and parking
Nothing I can think of
Security guy who agreed to help me with the bags was the only positive experience in my stay
Arrogant reception
Bad smell in a room which took 1 hour to give me another room
No water in a shower in the replacement room
Rooms are dirty - full of dust around bedside tables and table lamps, fridge
The staff are lovely and friendly especially Benedict.
The rooms are spacious.
The area is nice, leafy and clearly in an upmarket area.
It was very useful having access to a washing machine.
The mould in our shower was disgusting. We asked twice for it to be cleaned and twice they nodded but nothing was done. In the end we asked to be moved to a different room. This one had mould but less mould so we moved. I went out and bought Cif and a cleaning sponge to clean our own room which I have never had to do before.
The hotel is not walking distance to anything so you need to get Grabs everywhere. I did want into Bangsar village which is downhill once but uphill in the heat I caught a Grab back.
The restaurant closes at 2pm and there is nowhere to walk to eat, so you need to either get a Grab somewhere or dial in food via Grab.
The bed is not exactly 'pillow top' and we found it hard but if you like a hardish bed you will like these beds.
The room, bathroom and living and cooking facility was spacious, clean, and well equipped. I liked that, like the fact that I could control the temperature in my room etc. There was some noise from the pool area over the weekend but otherwise the space was quiet and private. I think that was very important.
I didn't like the breakfast. It was very "institutional" and even though there was a range of options, they were not very tasty. I was really disappointed with the lack of choice of fruits, the cereal was cornflakes and something else, and the coffee was from a machine. I skipped breakfast after the first day, so if it improved, I have no idea.
Great location and good value
The security guard at the gate was completely lost and kept asking us to sign in and register as a guest. This got very tiresome and annoying given we stayed for 6 days and regularly entered and exited. This only occurred with one particular guard.
The property is centrally located in Bangsar, within easy walking distance of many neighbourhood spots. The location is excellent, and the stay was comfortable overall.
The premises feel dated. The fan in our room wasn’t functioning properly, and we encountered cockroaches in the bathroom. Although an exterminator was sent, we still noticed one or two small roaches afterwards. Rooms facing the road can also be quite noisy, as the windows are not soundproof and traffic can be heard clearly.
