It was a comfortable stay!
Tolle Lage, tolles Frühstück und schönes Zimmer
We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay at the Inspira. We were there for 11 nights which is ample time to discover any problems and we did not have any issues at all during our stay. The staff was very warm and welcoming, especially Gilberto who works in the bar. We had dinner and drinks in the bar a couple of nights and Gilberto always greeted us warmly and was so kind - he was actually the highlight of our stay. We stayed in the smaller suite and it was well-appointed with everything we needed. The extra space made our long stay comfortable. The laundry staff is also amazing - I spilled red port wine all over my white jeans and thought they were ruined, but the laundry staff was able to remove all of the stains and you would never know. Overall, the Inspira made our time in Lisbon quite enjoyable and we would definitely stay there again!
The location was great. Right in the center of Lisbon, we could walk everywhere! The room and the whole hotel was very clean, we didn't spend much time in it as we were always out and about. We slept great, and the beds were very comfortable!
We booked a one night stay with breakfast included, but our flight was early in the morning at 9am, so we asked for two breakfast boxes to pick up in the morning upon check out. They were quite underwhelming. An old apple, stale bread and very dry cake. We were expecting something a bit more well taken care of. I'm sure the breakfast at the hotel must be nice, but the breakfast boxes to go were not good unfortunately.
Convenient location .
It started off well, a free transfer from the airport and a welcome dessert in our room - a very nice touch. However, the rest of the hotel experience fell short.
We chose the hotel as I'm coeliac, however, I wish we'd stayed elsewhere - the breakfast was a random assortment of gf rolls/bread/croissant - they were microwaved to avoid cross contamination but unfortunately meant they were half frozen. There's no jam/spreads available as they're put out with the rest of the non gf food so due to cross contamination I was unable to have any. Just butter and plain yoghurt is available in packaging safe for coeliacs. There's no menu/information from staff that you can order hot food separately so didn't bother having breakfast on the last day (much better gf bakeries across Lisbon!)
The rooms are clean and nice, however, those extra touches fall short - for example, one teabag between two people! Bottles of water left in the room had gone rusty and weren't replaced.
Otherwise you're charged for any snacks/drinks in the room. The staff aren't particularly welcoming, despite best efforts of speaking Portuguese!
The restaurant in the evening is another story, Gilbert being the most friendly member of staff, super helpful and reassuring regarding the gluten free food. I'd recommend the restaurant to fellow coeliac travelers, but the hotel stay isn't worth it.
it was central, clean and staff was great
na
Great hotel not far from Lisbon central. The buffet breakfast had lots of options, quality was good and food was tasty. Room was comfortable and clean.
Everything was great except the shower is awkward.
