Hotel Supetar Cavtat

We stayed at this incredible hotel once before and knew we wanted to come back. Right away we were reminded why we fell in love with this place. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Every space is so elegant and peaceful.

The best part though is the staff. Especially the Director, Davor and Josip from the restaurant/ garden lounge. Just like our first visit, Josip and Davor went above and beyond in every possible way. They greeted us like old friends, remembered details from our last stay, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Their genuine passion for hospitality is reflected in every interaction. The team shares that same dedication. We were always greeted so kindly and anything we needed they were willing to help. Everyone is extremely professional while still maintaining a warm, personal touch. Special thank you to Josip, Davor, Stanka, Dubravka, Kristijan, Tihana, Ivona, Zeljko and Niko. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Wish we could keep this place a secret but since I relied on the other reviews here to make the reservation I feel I must also pay it forward.
The Hotel itself is now what all future Boutique Hotels shall be measured against, every detail was on point, clean, warm, welcoming, each space was perfect and with only 21 rooms including the residences, never overcrowded. I'd like to see what high season and not October is like but couldn't take the heat!
We had breakfast each morning either on the terrace or inside with the selection of continental, pastries and cooked options all excellent. The same applied to the Tasting Menu we had in the evening for our Anniversary.
However the thing that makes this place truly special and I will confirm the previous reviews and state these are the best staff I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
Starting at the top with Hotel Director Davor right down to each member of the cleaning team, you felt each wanted to ensure the guest had the best experience. More importantly we felt they all enjoyed and wanted to work in the property, with each member ensuring they didn't let each other or the Hotel down. We were some of the last guests staying prior to the Hotel closing for low season and I really felt the staff were more upset to be leaving than we were, at least they know they're going back in 2026!
Cavtat was a beautiful location to stay in after a few days in an Old Town AirB&B, I'd imagine especially in high season and the crowds. We also got a chance to take a tour of the surrounding Konavle Valley arranged by the wonderful Dubrovska, the vinyard tours we took were a particular highlight along with the lunch at Konavoski Divori.

We have been to hundreds of hotels and this was the best. Even beat 4 seasons hands down. Fantastic location, attentive friendly and informative staff, so clean it was like brand new every day.

Very few excellently serviced beautiful boutique rooms, amazing breakfast, cosy bar. Only ate there one evening as there were so many restaurants within 100m, but that was delicious too.

Don’t even think about the larger hotels in Cavtat if there is space available here.

Beautiful hotel with attention to detail on decor, food and service that sets it apart.

My partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel Supetar. Very comfortable room with a bed that provides a good night's sleep. The room and bathroom were of a high standard with the bed linen and towels changed daily. The breakfasts were really nice with a plentiful choice of different fruits, cereals, pastries and hot food. The swimming pool is wonderful and the outdoor seating areas are great and furnished with comfortable seating and sunshades. The location of the hotel is pretty perfect being a very short walk to the seafront restaurants. The hotel staff were very nice, helpful and friendly people. We enjoyed a great stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Supetar, it deserves it's five star rating.

Had a fabulous stay at Hotel Supetar. Beautiful small hotel with excellent staff. This hotel is everything a 5 star hotel should be. Rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. We were lucky to have only room with outside terrace (107). Bottle of water everyday, minibar and coffee machine/pods and kettle. Chocolate by bed at night. Bathroom large and shower good pressure. Lovely toiletries in bathroom. Breakfast plentiful with large continental selection and also menu for cooked breakfast. Fresh juices and smoothies.all staff do an excellent job. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Pool area whilst small was lovely to cool off in the pool and always a bed with clean towel on it. Hotel is spotlessly clean. The cleaners seem to come and do their job invisibly as I never saw them yet our room was immaculate and always done whilst we were at breakfast!! Location was perfect. Right in centre. Restaurants/bars on doorstop. Highly recommended Harbour Cafe. Food delicious and very reasonable. We had a late flight and even though had to check out at 12 was able to use The Residence to shower allowing us to make the most of our last day. Cavtat is beautiful, lovely shaded walks around both peninsulas. Will definitely be back and will be back to this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending.

We had never been to Croatia and my wife saw this gem of a hotel advertised in a travel supplement.
The hotel has been recently refurbished and our room - which had a view over the Adriatic - as well as all the communal areas are exquisitely decorated and spotlessly clean.
The entire team - Davor (hotel director), Dubravka on reception and her wonderful colleagues, Nico in the restaurant, Clarita and her colleagues at breakfast and the housekeeping staff were all superb. I can’t remember the names of all the staff, but they all made our stay the best in our 35 years of travelling as a couple. Nothing was too much trouble. The small touches like complimentary ice cream by the pool in the afternoon and the odd tasty treat left in your room made it feel that extra bit special.
The food was superb. We ate in the restaurant the night of our arrival but then chose to sample some of the other local restaurants over the course of the week. It would have been very easy to eat in the hostel every night, the food was that good! Breakfast was amazing, with a massive range of delicious food at the buffet matched by an equally impressive choice of cooked food from the menu, as well as freshly prepared smoothies.
The service was truly 5 star from the moment we were met at the airport until the moment we were dropped off for our return flight and it is a lovely, lovely hotel.
We truly hope to return one day!

Wow! What an amazing stay. From the moment we stepped through the door the service was wonderful. Our receptionist (very annoyed I’ve forgotten her name) was so welcoming and helpful that we knew we were in for the perfect holiday. We landed early so she invited us to have breakfast on the beautiful terrace. We have been lucky enough to stay in many nice hotels thanks to being a travel journalist but this one is right up there with the service being thoughtful, professional and genuine. While our room didn’t have a sea view or a balcony everything else about it was ideal from the delicious soft sheets, comfy bed and being scrupulously clean. A bottle of bubbly for our 10th wedding anniversary was a generous touch. Can’t wait to go back. PS so glad we booked here rather than Dubrovnik as it is so peaceful and relaxed and only 10 mins from the airport

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Beautifully renovated and decorated property, all immaculately clean. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast.

® We can't say enough about how absolutely fabulous EVERYTHING was during our stay! This beautifully decorated high-end boutique hotel is the finest we have ever stayed in. The service was impeccably superb, and the food Michelin star quality! Every corner of the property is beautiful.
EVERYONE was amazing and went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of!! I would love to name every staff member but won't for fear of leaving someone out. We were pleasantly surprised by something or someone everyday.
If you are going to Cavtat, treat yourself to the luxury of Hotel Supertar!!!!!!

Great, new boutique hotel in historic walls, very attentive and friendly staff. Very good and also quiet location. We loved it!

If heaven is a place, this is it. Exquisitely decorated boutique hotel less than 10 metres from aqua blue water. My husband and I spent 5 nights here last week and we both agreed it is the best small hotel we have ever stayed in . Staff are friendly and attentive, without being fussy. Cleanliness is impeccable. The food is wonderful, particularly breakfast and the rooms are beautifully decorated . Cannot praise this little gem highly enough. We will be back next year…and every year afterwards I hope!

This was our second stay at Hotel Supetar in Cavtat—after visiting last summer, our daughters (ages 12 and 14) insisted we return this summer, and we’re glad we listened. We had another wonderful experience that was, if anything, even better than last year.
The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, the rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast and meals at the hotel remain better than any along the harbor. The small pool area is perfectly maintained, with comfortable chairs and umbrellas, and the hotel’s prime location puts you within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and scenic waterfront walks. We also enjoyed the hotel’s new bar next door—a great spot for a pre-dinner drink.
Between relaxing at the hotel, island hopping, and day trips by boat to Dubrovnik (walking the famous walls is a must), it was a memorable stay for our whole family. We did notice more large boats tied up in Cavtat’s harbor this year, which somewhat affected the waterfront views, but that’s hardly the hotel’s fault.
Hotel Supetar simply works the way a great boutique hotel is supposed to work. Croatia’s Adriatic coast is special, and this hotel captures that perfectly - shops to the left, a swimming area in front, a winding trail beside the sea to the right. My hat goes off to the management and staff—true professionals who are genuinely nice people. We’ve stayed at many fine hotels, but few match the combination of quality, value, and charm we found here.

Wow, what a hotel. It is absolutely perfect. The only thing that makes it better is the staff! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Stunning hotel in a stunning location. Comfy beds and excellent attentive staff

We have just checked out and left Hotel Supetar after an amazing week of first class service. We drove away with the reception staff and manager waving us off in the taxi. It was little touches like this that made us feel so welcomed and looked after. As well as things like the restaurant staff remembering your order for breakfast made the world of difference. A special mention to Carla and Ante who were superstars and made our breakfasts even more enjoyable.
The hotel and rooms are exceptional and beautifully decorated. It is a fantastic location with all amenities within walking distance. When asked if there were any improvements that could be made we really couldn’t think of any. A much needed week of calm, peace and being well looked after. We cannot wait to return.

What can I say that would do Hotel Supetar justice.
I booked this property based on previous reviews. All 10/10, I couldn’t refute that.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were the only guests. It was exceptionally warm the day we arrived and were given a cold hand towel to cool off, as well as a refreshing lemon drink.
This set the scene for the week. The staff were just amazing, helpful, friendly and nothing a bother. I don’t like singling out as all were fantastic, however Ante we got to know a little. He like the rest of the staff work so hard to make a holiday environment that is so precious to many of us who work all year and enjoy getting away for a break.
The hotel is impeccably run in what is such a relaxed atmosphere for guests. The breakfast was sooooo good, a huge selection of fresh fruit, breads, cheese etc etc with a cooked breakfast of choice, coffee and specially made fruit drinks.
We don’t often return to the same place but Hotel Supetar we will.
