Centro Barsha

The staff are not welcoming. My check in experience was not welcoming (the guy looked angry seeing me), no luggage assistance, requested for a dental kit and praying mat had to call twice to remind them. Breakfast selection needs improvement for people staying 4nights plus is a problem as the breakfast menu is pretty much the same.

Have stayed at the Centro quite a few times and always enjoyed our stay. The price is very competitive, rooms are clean and comfortable.

Everything is enough base on what you pay. Staff's are polite and helpful. The only weak point is that there is no smart TV in room.

Everything is great. The service, the room, the staff & the food.

I have just little concern about the hotel, in the shower the bottles for body wash and shampoo doesn’t work. You can’t use it it is very hard to pump it even my husband tried but it did not help. I wish they changed to better quality bottle or different way.

I did not like the area around the hotel, I couldn’t walk because it is not clean and a lot of construction.

We’ve recently have had some issues with the hotels we have booked through Expedia. One said it was a 3 star – it was barely a one star. Another all the amenities we had booked it for were not operational although the Expedia site said they were – frustrating.


So, we booked the Centro Barsha in Dubai and were pleasantly surprised.


Located in a very diverse neighborhood (so much great food within walking distance!) – the Centro is a solid 3 -star hotel with a nice lobby area, pool, and gym.


We upgraded to a suite since we were staying 8 days – and it was nice to have some extra room.


Centro could easily be a 4 star if they would upgrade the room furniture and the carpeting in the rooms/hallways – our room carpet was slightly stained.


Staff were helpful and friendly – with room service being very fast.


About an 8-minute walk to the easy-to-use METRO – it’s convenient to get around the city augmented with UBER rides.


I would recommend the Cento Barsha.

We had a good stay. Happy to return, if we get a good deal.

Just too many plastic bottles every day .. Is the tap water in Dubai drinkable ??
If YES , the hotel should tell you that instead of the plastic bottles so guests can decide how much burden they want to be to the planet
If NO, then have a bottle refilling station near the elevators.

Good value for money. Near a metro station and close to many great eating options.

Reception staff and room service staff and pool and gym staff all was very helpful.
Room was good as well.

About 10 min walk to the tram or the mall. Very nice for a budget friendly hotel.
