Panalee Koh Samui Resort

Très bel hôtel, qui arrive à être calme, malgré la route pleine de circulation qui le sépare de la plage. La chambre était vraiment bien.
Un petit hic, nous avions une magnifique baignoire, mais très peu d'eau chaude. Un bain a l'eau tiède est appréciable en vue des températures extérieures mais a l'eau froide, ça passe un peu moins.
Et le gros hic, c'est que cet hôtel est sur la seule plage de l'île où il n'y a que très peu d'activités. Pas vraiment de commerces, pas de location de jet-ski, pas de marché, pas d'animations

Well maintained bungalows in a quiet setting. You can see this was once more of a resort style accommodation which has a sense of faded grandeur but we lived our stay. Bungalow was a good size, comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Choice of English and European tv channels - handy as it rained! Outdoor seating area overlooking the pool. Bungalows 16 and 17 have easy access to both pools. Lots of trees and birds. Beach and beach bars/restaurants across the road. Lovely staff. Early taxi to the airport organised without fuss and on time

We booked a certain room. When we got there, we were told there is a problem with it and it is unavailable. We agreed to stay for a night in another kind of a room, which we were not happy with.
Next day we were told that the room we booked in advance still has a problem, so we left for another hotel.
When we made the order, we had to pay in advance for all the nights.
When we left the hotel after staying there for just one night, we were told that OF COURSE we will get a refund for the rest of the nights. We gave them our email address - and never heard from them again.
We sent them emails - they never replied.
We called them and were told that "The boss will call you back, we promise"- which he never did.
After getting Booking involved it looks like we'll finally get our money back, but it looks like there is no choice but to call the owners thieves.
(It was in Jan. now it's Mar.).

I booked this months in advance and realised that by the time we stayed there, it was not peak season so we could have saved money booking it last minute. The hotel was not full which we liked. It was clean and in a quiet location with plenty of great local restaurants walking distance. The beach is not the best for swimming and has many ferrell dogs walking around. The breakfast was basic but nice and they offered a few different ways to cook your eggs for you. Coffee was great!. We swam in the lap pool quite a lot to cool down which was very refreshing. What we liked was that it was set back from the road which made it very quiet and plenty of palms gave it a lot of shade and cooler temperature.

When arriving at night the personal offered me a small room and not the pool view room that I had payed for, so after I complained for a while they offered me the room I had payed for.

The breakfast is so bad, so blend and the kitchen that they cooked in is so dirty, I took some pictures that show the walls that they hang the frying pans to cook the eggs on shows this.

The pools were nice enough, but you could never find a personal to help you and there were never enough towels.
The fruit trees around the pool attracted a lot of ants so that was an issue when lounging by the pool.

The only positive were the pools (kinda) and the fact that the hotel offered two free water bottles every day.

The beach is very close.

The room were dirty, I had to show the cleaning lady’s that they needed to clean every surface because there were spots and dirty spots everywhere.

Because of pictures when booking we thought the resort locates on the beach but was other side of the road. Garden area was very nice with hammocks and chairs. Cleanl. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. The main road was busy and sometimes difficult to cross especially with a child. Noisy too. Recommended for everybody. Jukka.fi🇫🇮

We honestly can’t thank you enough. From start to finish everything went seamlessly. Pu was absolutely amazing so please pass on our sincere thanks. All of the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond. Our day was absolutely awesome and everyone who attended keep saying how wonderful the day was.

Hotel itself like a garden, a lot of plants and tree, it’s my favorite part, bird sing in the morning. Room is in newly decorated condition, pretty spacious. Staff is the highlight, smiling and welcoming, willing to help you all the time. Oh, the swimming pools are all good

The room just renovated with nice decoration, cleanliness is the highlight. Staff are really welcoming and helpful. What I like most are the garden and swimming pool.

Hotel staff are delightful. All genuinely friendly and happy to help. Rooms are beautifully clean with nice outlook, we had a room that looked over pool. Highly recommend. Restaurant breakfast food was amazing. So convenient and so delicious

It’s a very nice place for me to enjoy my vacation, friendly staff and clean room, even though it’s not in it’s town, but they can pick you up from the airport if you can stay longer enough.

Booked pool access, site unseen. 10 km to Boh Phut. Beach across a busy road, 5 minutes to 7-11. Staff friendly. Rooms clean, well appointed. Breakfast only just doable, then it was low season. There are 2 pools at this site, water in both was cold.

We have stayed in the deluxe room with pool access, room was clean, new and nice decorations. The pool was our favorite clean and surrounded by nature.
Staff are friendly especially khun Tong the Front office manager, he is so helpful and lovely.
The location is not far from ferry piers, so peaceful and definitely perfect for the getaway vacation but just a few steps there are many of restaurants and bar for a sunset dining.

Panalee resort is in a quiet location when compared to other areas on Koh Samui. The resort is not based in a town, there is nothing around the resort and the beach across the street is not good for swimming. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We stayed in deluxe room with Pool View; the room was clean and spacious. However, the room was basic and bland. I thought the room would be more swanky.
The breakfast is quite poor quality, not worthy at all. Also if you come late there will be no food left on the buffet line.
This resort can be an ideal place for a quiet stay but if you want nightlife then I would recommend Chaweng or Lamai beach.
I paid about 1900 THB which is quite pricey compared to other places.

the hotel itself is quite nice; the rooms in the mainbuilding modern; pools ok but small; the beach is just accross the street; the associated restaurant "March" offers great food and has a little playground
BUT:
the breakfast doesn't offer any variety, is cold and tastes awful; for the first night we stayed in bungalow 12 which was full of termites, after poisoning most of the rooms with insecticides we only could use one sleeping room; we moved to bungalow 11 the next day, but there was no real excuse or refund for the first night; staff is unkind, not willing to help and incompetent in running a resort like this and doesn't speak english when there is a problem to solve; every second night there is a new group of chinese travellers, the karaoke in the "March" restaurant made us avoid this place; sunbeds near the smaller pool are broken and dirty; no staff at reception between 23:00 and 06:00 which means the guests are left alone; the bathroom was made of concrete which isn't appealing at all; beach small and full of plastic rubbish; the last night prior departure big spider in the room and again nobody responsible

The shower room is very dirty! It was unsanitary.
And breakfast is also less kind.
The child could not eat it.

This hotel is lovely and the rooms are perfectly clean and spacious. We had a pool access room which was lovely. As me and my partner fell ill during our trip at separate times, it was nice that the other could still lay out and use the pool a few feet away. Reception area is lovely and wifi works throughout. The location could be better, there are only a handful of restaurants nearby and it is a good 20 min drive from all the sights and a 10 min drive to the main town. We are travelling around so was only here 5 nights, and with the illness it wasn't too much of a bother. But.. some of the guests at the hotel negatively affected our stay. The pool access room is a separate pool from the main pool which is lovely, BUT other hotel guests seemed to think it was okay to come and use this small tiny pool and children running up and down past our doors, on our terrace, people being loud etc. We've paid extra for this room and don't see why people that haven't should be able to use it, there should be a sign up somewhere. Also don't see why people would want to use it when there is a perfectly big pool for all guests to use.
Guests above us also seem to not know how to shut a door properly, constantly slamming doors and dragging chairs across the floor. (I know this is nothing against the hotel, just merely hope some people see this that were doing it) I have been woken up at 7:30 am by this!
But the other guests aside... it's a lovely peaceful hotel and would recommend
