Pros:

The breakfast was vert good and the hotel staff are super friendly and remembered us from our trip in the summer.

Cons:

I was disappointed in the dinner in the restaurant. My son's cheese pizza was burned along the edges and the seafood platter my wife and I had was $200 but the lobster came out dry and overcooked, the scallops were missing and the crab was dry too. The food looked over cooked and was cold at the table.

The hotel itself is decent, stay here once a year for an occasion however they have now permanently lost my business.

Cons:

The pool changing rooms are dirty, and they’re looking for any excuse to charge you extra money. Charged me a large extra cleaning fee because they had to vacuum the room and wash the linens; this tells me they’re either not doing those things between stays or they just want to charge people more whenever they can.

Check out policy
Pros:

This hotel put in a policy that they will charge you an extra night if you check out early; even if you notify them the night before. I was not informed about this at check in. They make it difficult to notify them before 4 pm about checking out early when most of the area outside of town has no cell service.

They then don’t provide you with an invoice showing the extra night charged and don’t provide a matching credit card receipt. So these extra night charges are going unaccounted.

Pros:

We always like going to the Mirage. We live an hour away, so on birthday's or special occasions we like to have a little staycation, we love the pool area, and breakfast is wonderful. The staff is excellent..but the rooms...they need some love. The rooms that have rug seriously need to have it removed and replaced with something that is NOT rug. I rented a 2 bedroom suite., the bed in the one room was extremely tippy and seemed to have been broken once and never properly fixed. The pull out sofa was also nearly unusable, it had a large protruding bar down the length of it, .in the middle.. And those pool bathrooms...they have always had a horrendous smell to them, and what a glorious day it would be, if that could be remedied.
