The property is lovely and has a distinctive pineapple concept throughout the hotel. The Aria King Room is quite spacious, which worked well for us as we were travelling from Australia across Canada and the USA with a fair bit of luggage.
While the room is spacious, you can hear every footstep from upstairs, which can be annoying if you’re a light sleeper like us. The shower pressure also isn’t that great.
At check-in, we were asked to pay an amenities fee, even though our booking confirmation showed a resort fee had already been included. Not really sure if they’re different charges or just different wording, but it was a bit confusing when we arrived.
This was also the first and only hotel we’ve stayed at in the US that has asked us to pay an additional amenities fee like this at check-in.
We also noticed we were charged more than what was initially advertised on Booking.com, and it wasn’t just our booking, my sister had the same issue with her room as well. We only realised after checking our bank accounts. Would be good to know the difference between a resort fee and an amenities fee, as we thought they were the same thing, just called something different.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable!
You could hear footsteps from the room upstairs at times. I also noticed I was charged more than expected when booking through a third-party site. The parking fee was extremely expensive at $52, and there seemed to be additional hidden charges that were not clearly communicated beforehand.
I really liked the attention to detail. It is a special place and was a wonderful place. I loved the art, the front desk staff and the location. It was my birthday weekend and the staff did a special surprise for me in my room. This hotel is a gem and so close to the places we wanted to visit near the space needle and Pike place market. I would stay again. We got free drinks on arrival and we had access to bikes to bike around the day we were leaving. There were a lot of bike friendly roads near the hotel with bike lanes.
I can't think of anything I did not like.
The pineapple theme was really cute and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The complementary drink was a nice touch and it was a safe and quiet environment.
The food in the bar area wasn't that great according to my friend who traveled with me unfortunately
We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff are personable and helpful. The hotel was tastefully done and they had free coffee and cookies in the lobby area. They also offer bikes for rent but we didn't get a chance to use the same. It is close to MoPop and Seattle Center but a bit further away from Downtown. One can take the MONORAIL from the Seattle Center to Westlake station and explore the rest on foot.
They have a cafe where you could buy baked goods and coffee in the mornings. They also offer sit-down servivce. In the evening the Lobby Bar served local brews and other drinks. The lobby also has a vending machine for quick snacks and drinks.
All in all - it was a lovely hotel and we appreciated the behaviour and friendliness of the staff. The room was comfortable and clean. Would stay here again. For people driving to the hotel, they do have parking.
Pro tip: There is a nice Thai place for lunch/dinner just minutes away from the hotel.
The best way to get to town is taking the monorail from Seattle Center to WestLake station. From there, you can walk to Pike's Place, Post Alley, Ferry, Seattle Great Wheel and the entertainment area thought it is a 15 minute walk.
This area is filled with restaurants and interesting shops. We tried Ivar's Salmon Chowder and Fish. It was great. You can also sample the famous Mac and Cheese at Beecher's, pick up a hot pastry from Piroshky, PIroshky and pair it with a freshly made Ginger Beer at Rachel's Ginger Beer(my absolute favorite). Starbucks' lovers can visit the 1st Starbucks store or try some local ice creams while admiring sunsets from the waterfront area.
Cheers
I wish they had a room category that included breakfast as it's very convenient to have a full breakfast at the hotel.
Would have enjoyed fresh brewed coffee from one of Seattle coffee giants.
Stay Pineapple is a funky fun hotel, Employees are really enthusiastic and helpful.
Great location-am easy walk to Space Needle and the gardens, monorail, restaurants and shopping.
The beds are superb! Rooms are so comfortable and I love the coffee maker!
Not one thing. We loved it!!
L’accueil du personnel, le confort de la chambre
Loved the fun feeling. Loved the colors
Such a friendly place
Nothing
Close location to climate pledge. Friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfy
Websites stated food available to a certain time. Food services closed an hour prior to that time.
Loved the decor
A great hotel with wonderful staff. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was so soft. During our first night, we noticed the water didn't get very warm so in the morning I asked about it at the front desk and the temperature of the water was fixed while we were out exploring the city. I really appreciated that. Also, special shout out the two bartenders we spoke to. They were both so friendly and both me and my boyfriend really enjoyed talking with them.
The price is a bit high, especially parking at about $53 a night with tax. I do also wish they had a hot tub along with their pool.
Staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and the location was awesome!
Housekeeping only comes every other day so that kind of is a downside since I like coming back to a freshly made bed after a day out. Comforters you have to basically put on yourself and there is no too sheet, everything seemed clean but that was different from other hotels I’ve been to. Also since there were two comforters I would keep waking up to one falling on the floor.
