Aston Ketapang City Hotel

The staff at reception were not very friendly. Kind of got ordered to sit down while I was receiving my booking from my phone near reception when i first entered the hotel. Like he was annoyed i was standing near him. If you talk to reception, they seem annoyed and irritated. The other staff around the hotel were lovely and very polite though.

As for the hotel, it's kind of just what you expect. Definitely not the nicest Aston. I didn't really like the vibe of the place from reception so I changed hotels to a lovely little place down the road.

the best options for a 3 star hotel should be, best service every time i visit to Ketapang for my business trip, standard room Rates with good hotel quality, a varises breakfast menu and live cooking is also available. Thanks Aston

I spent 4 nights in this hotel without changing to another acommodation. The room was clean and tidy. The food was great.
I think this hotel is one of the best place to stay while you are in Ketapang.

The mall isnt too far too

Staff front office service is very good.
good breakfast with many variant.
The room is clean, Air Conditiong good, and toilet always clean.
View at our room is good and we can see a Masque from our room.

Located in the city center, only 20 minutes from Ketapang airport, West Kalimantan.
Coffee shop available 24 hours, you can find Pub, Lounge, Spa in this hotel.
Spacious and clean room but the TV channel is so limited and not so clear, this will need special attention for Aston.

Room clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is sufficient though need more freshness of fruits, location is good, toiletries is sufficient though need to add each cleaning time, bathroom is clean, bed sheet is clean.

This is the third time i stay in Aston Ketapang. Since 2017 until now there is no progress from the hotel of how to gey rid of bad smell from kitchen. The hotel didnt have a good exhaust from kitchen. You can smell it from ground floor until level 6.

Adequate hotel but not special. Room ( 6th floor) very hot . Air con not maintained . Filter blocked with dust - but even after cleaning it was not cold. breakfast was ok. Lobby was under restoration - rather dusty.

Hygiene and cleanliness
1. Water spills in restaurant's toilet floor;
2. Cigarette buds in restaurant's toilet floor;
3. Yellow reddish water from bidet, faucet and shower;
4. When i opened up my room window, there were at least 10 to 12 cigarette buds;
5. Room service didn't pick up dishes from in-room restaurant until 3 pm;

Breakfast
1. Condiments seemed to be leftover from yesterday breakfast, as they are not fresh;
2. Fruits were not fresh or properly stored in cold storage, just chilled over cold water bottles;
3. No staff assisting guests, just 1 staff cooked the omelette;

I've been visiting this hotel back in 2014 for the samw business travel and they showed excellent service, hygiene and food. As a premium hotel in town, Aston fails me this time.

Great location in Ketapang. Plenty of restaurants nearby and shopping. Small grocery store next door and a mini mart few doors down from that.
Hotel has great bikes for rent if you are brave enough to get out on that road. ;0)

This place is great for those who's going to travel around Ketapang, not only for business purpose but also for holiday. ASTON guarantee to make my trip more safe and comfortable, after a whole day travelling around the city, going back to hotel and i saw my room turned just like home. Clean, tidy, and smells good. The best thing is on the bathroom, you don't need to buy anything, they would gift it all for free. Last but not least, this place have easy access to the Airport. I love it..

entertain facility the best and numero uno on ketapang, no need looking other place, you just stay on hotel.

I stayed 3 nights in Aston Ketapang Hotel. I wish It would be longer! Great service, very friendly Staff. All the Team members are very skilled and dedicated doing their Job perfect. I like very much the Entertaintment not crowded like other Pub in town so I can enjoy beer and DJ performance

The Food was excellent, Breakfast was great. The hotel was very neat and tidy. Luckily I was able to watch World cup 2018 Soccer as special Channel was made available. Really appreciated!

I have stayed in a number of Aston hotels and always find these nice, however the bathroom was not that clean and had hairs and brown stains everywhere. The room just did not match the quality of other Aston hotels I have stayed in.
I had some urgent work to do and luckily I could use my phone as a hot spot as the WiFi in the room just did it work.

Took a few hours to rest and work at the cafe. The coffee was ok and they had espresso options. There was not much food on the menu. The atmosphere could use some work as well. However it was quiet and clean.

This hotel offers de service of good Occidental hotel at low price for people coming from Europe.
The room are spacious and clean. The bathroom is Ok. Although the hotel is on the main street the rooms are very quite.
The breakfast is a buffet like foe a lunch.

By friends' recommendation, I booked the hotel for one night before going to a remote area, and another one night before flying back to Jakarta. Hotel was clean, they have new and old building which similar in size and facilities.
I left an important stuff in the room upon checkout, and realized it after I'm in Jakarta. I called back the hotel, the staff response was prompt and helpful.
