Not up to standards I’ve come to expect from Marriott properties.
Pros:

In Pittsburgh for family funeral and really looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep. Rooms are not well maintained and cleaned. Mattresses all in need of replacement. Certainly not up to the standards of what I’ve come to expect from Marriott properties.

Hotel room was very disappointing.
Pros:

It was close to many attractions.

Cons:

My room was uncomfortable. The heat would not shut off. Also the sofa bed mattress was disgusting. There were stains all over the mattress and stains on the cushions. The staff was apologetic but the new room was dirty too.

Disappointing
Pros:

Downtown, walking distance to many attractions

Cons:

The advertised pool was drained! The room had a very unacceptable pull out sofa not sufficient for two adults to sleep on. No one would help us cancel our second two nights so we could book somewhere else with a working pool and two real beds. Something that looked like decal matter on the picture frame above the toilet

Dated and a little pricey, but proximity to venues is great.
Pros:

Room was a great size, well appointed and had everything you need in the kitchenette.

Cons:

There were no USB ports for charging devices, except the one on the TV. The alarm clock was so old you couldn't set the alarm and there was an iPod dock on it. The utensils in the cooking drawer were very dusty, luckily we didn't need them. I also was not aware we would have to pay an extra $27 per night to park on site.

Pros:

I came to see the Dodgers play the Pirates. The stadium was right next to the hotel

Cons:

I made duplicate reservations for the hotel through Booking.com. I experienced incredibly difficulty cancelling one of the reservations and have yet to receive a refund for the amount I paid in advance to secure the cancelled reservation

It’s great that it is right next to PNC Park but understand it is a 3 star hotel for a reason.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. However, it would be nice to have plain bagels with cream cheese.

Cons:

When I checked into my room, there was no remote for the tv and it didn’t work so I had to call maintenance and there was no mattress in the sofa bed so I had to also call for that.

Take me out to the ballgame, via The North Shore Residence Inn!!!
Pros:

The location-a stone's throw from the ballpark-was incredible! The parking was sooooo convenient! The hotel team was quite friendly, super accommodating, and extremely professional.

Cons:

Not applicable as I liked everything!
