Номер был на 46 этаже, с видом на набережную. Разместили в номере раньше времени, за что персоналу большое спасибо. Персонал вежлив, на английском языке разговаривают, и есть Яна, русскоговорящая девушка. Во многом нам помогла и объясняла . Спасибо ей огромное. Отель в который хочется вернуться!

Our stay was overall a very positive experience, highlighted by exceptional service from several team members.

A sincere thank you to Catherine Chen and Mike Wang for their outstanding support with transportation arrangements. Navigating logistics in a busy city like Shanghai can be complex, and both of them were incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive. Mike also provided excellent restaurant recommendations and assisted with reservations, which we truly appreciated.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, very clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, and the accommodations felt comfortable and refined throughout our stay.

One area that proved more challenging was communication with some of the restaurant staff and hotel operators. It occasionally took multiple attempts to clarify requests or secure what we needed. We suspect some of this may reflect post-COVID tourism shifts and changes in staffing or guest demographics. While everything was ultimately resolved, the process was not always seamless.

We dined at several restaurants on property. Aura was excellent for the multiple lunches we enjoyed there—consistently welcoming, attentive, and a pleasant setting to relax mid-day. In contrast, Flair offers beautiful views and a striking atmosphere, but the environment felt somewhat pretentious and less welcoming compared to the other restaurants onsite.

Overall, we appreciated the dedication of the staff—especially Catherine and Mike—and enjoyed our stay. With some improvements in communication consistency, the experience could be even stronger.

I went into this trip fully braced for chaos—juggling back-to-back meetings while keeping my family entertained and happy sounded like a recipe for a travel disaster. But The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong didn’t just avoid the mess—it turned this work-family hybrid trip into an absolute dream we’ll be gushing about for years.

First off, a massive, game-changing shoutout to Shuhao from the sales team. If there was an award for turning travel stress into pure relaxation, Shuhao would take the top spot every single time. Every tiny detail was perfectly arranged before we even walked through the door, so I didn’t have to split my brain between work emails and family logistics for a single second. This man didn’t just handle a booking—he curated a flawless experience, and I’m forever grateful.

Now, let’s talk about the spots that stole our hearts (and our camera rolls). FLAIR? The view is so breathtakingly elegant that my family spent 90% of our time there snapping photos of the skyline instead of having actual conversations—and I didn’t even complain. It’s the kind of view that makes even the most casual drink feel like a special, once-in-a-while occasion. Then there’s AURA, the lobby bar with style so immaculate, even my dad—who unapologetically wears socks with sandals everywhere—looked like a sophisticated, effortlessly cool urbanite while sipping his coffee there. If a space can make my dad look chic, you know it’s next-level.

And don’t even get me started on the restaurants. Every single meal, every bite, every flavor was so unforgettable that I’m still daydreaming about them while I’m stuck in boring office meetings back home. My taste buds have been officially and permanently spoiled—no sad desk lunch will ever measure up to the magic we had here. These aren’t just meals; they’re memories that are living rent-free in the deepest corners of my mind, and I’m not mad about it one bit.

By the time we left, my family was already asking when we could come back. Let me make this perfectly clear: next time I’m in Shanghai, there’s zero debate, zero hesitation, zero looking at other hotels. The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong is my one and only, non-negotiable choice. You turned a potentially chaotic work trip into a warm, perfect family memory, and that’s the kind of magic you can’t put a price on. 10/10, would absolutely let Shuhao plan my entire life if he’d be up for it.

Excellent hotel and fantastic staff. All staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcoming and comfortable.
We have stayed at many hotels all over the world and this is by far the best.
Club lounge offered Excellent service all day long with a fantastic view of Shanghai. Great relaxing atmosphere and staff always there for anything we needed. Especially Juanita who was the best host we could ever wish for and such a lovely friendly lady.
Excellent location and value for money.

Wonderful lounge everybody very helpful especially Junelet . Food was excellent plenty to choose from and very good quality. Best hotel and lounge i have stayed in around the world.
