Cleanliness
8.5
Multiple reviewers called rooms 'clean' and 'very clean', though a recurring note about a strong/odd smell on the ground floor was reported; overall cleanliness is good with a minor odor issue.
Service
8.3
Staff are frequently described as friendly and welcoming (especially breakfast staff), but there is one notable negative report about front-desk handling of a third-party receipt; overall service is generally positive with one exception.
Location
7.8
Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants for many guests but at least one guest found it inconvenient for their venue and another mentioned highway noise; mixed results on location suitability.
Room Quality
8.6
Rooms described as comfortable, spacious and with comfy beds by several guests; one report mentioned bed comfort as an issue, but overall room quality is solid.
Amenities
8.7
Indoor pool and hot tub are praised as clean and enjoyable by multiple reviewers, supporting a strong amenities rating.
Value for Money
8.2
Guests noted included breakfast and overall pleasant stays; one said breakfast made the price worthwhile — generally seen as good value.
Food and Beverage
7.7
Breakfast staff receive high praise for hospitality, but food quality has mixed notes (several mentions of rubbery eggs), resulting in a slightly lower score.
Overall Experience
8.6
Most guests reported a wonderful or great experience and would stay again; a single strong negative service incident and minor issues (smell, noise, breakfast quality) temper an otherwise positive overall impression.

Pros:

Breakfast was nice. Hotel was clean but smelled a little odd, especially on the ground floor, maybe strong cleaning agents were used there. I noticed this all three days I was at the hotel.

Hampton Inn?
Cons:

It's hard to believe this is a Hampton Inn. The building is but not the service. When I asked for the receipt they just claim they do not do that to third party reservations (Booking). First time that ever happened. Last time we are staying in McAlester.

Very clean. Friendly staff.
