Arrival service was excellent - we arrived around 11am and the staff said our rooms were available early - a welcomed relief as we had been flying through the night! The hotel location in the historic district was fantastic and rooms were impeccable. Wonderful ambiance in the lobby with cookies and fruit flavored water always available, with wines available in the late morning/afternoon. Guest services were wonderful.
First impressions are always the most important, but last impressions are also as meaningful. Restaurant service/Room service left some areas to improve upon. We stayed Monday-Thursday morning. Rossio Gastrobar is open to hotel guests only on Mon-Tue. Public is welcome all other days. Monday and Tuesday were less crowded and service was impeccable - what I expect from a 5 Star hotel, Wednesday however was a different story. We went up to have a late afternoon drink and to relax - the area is a hotel amenity, but we were felt to be unwelcomed and rushed out. We were served our drinks and asked once if we wanted dinner which we declined. After that interaction, we were seldom approached by waitstaff to see if we needed anything additional. We had to call for a staff member to ask for an another drink. We finally ordered some small appetizers, they arrived were placed on the table and then the staff were off. No utensils, additional plates, questions if we needed anything additional. We had to ask for plates, silverware, and napkins. The pub had several open table throughout the night, with plenty of waitstaff meandering, but hardly 5 star service that was expected. Wednesday night we placed the placard on our door for morning breakfast service as directed on the card. We woke up early to receive our order - the requested time came and passed, I opened the door and our breakfast order was still hanging on the doorknob. Once again, small detail, but not up to the 5 star rating that was expected. Like I said, wonderful first impression, but the last impression is more important if you want return customers. 5 Star - No, 4 star +, yes. When you put 5 Star on the door…you need to execute with flawless precision across the board.

Gostei de tudo, somente não gostei de ter dito que minha água estava saindo fria e pedi orientação para melhorar e me foi dito por um funcionário que depois foi no quarto que era para eu ligar a água e esperar. E não era isso; era dúvida no manejo da torneira do banho. Senti preguiça para ir no quarto.
